Not their fault. That’s literally what the French wanted. Unlike the British who emphasized that no matter how many years we stay amongst them, we’ll never be like them, France literally brainwashed their colonial subjects. They hate everything about themselves and idolize French culture, the French language, and whiteness. There’s no hyphenated identity in France. If you are born there, you are French. Which is why you’ll find a lot of them whitening their bloodline in two generations or less. They “don’t see colour” just the French language. That’s their soft power, the French language.
