Allison Montgomery has won Alabama's State House District 25 election, flipping the seat from Republican to Democratic.
She becomes the first transgender woman to be elected to the Alabama Legislature.
Abdul El-Sayed is the singular best example of what happens when a hate filled person puts a D next to their name. Anything said from that point forward is excused, no matter how despicable. It’s honestly sad to see. I’m glad that Democrats with a spine are standing up to this.
