Most functions do not need a dj.
Some level of scarcity is actually necessary for proper respect of this art form.
Stores do not need to hire DJs to spin retail House on a laptop and controller.
Just because you are paying someone for a service doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve the dignity of a thank you.
You can literally make their day just be being like “hey bro thanks for cutting my grass” or whatever the fuck it is just by saying thanks!!
