While taking @congressdj to his hotel in Houston this afternoon, we discussed one of things we keep hearing over and over again in the comments to my video post from yesterday, that the Cybertruck had FSD disengaged for four seconds prior to impact.
So after leaving DJ's hotel and heading back home, I went back to the Eastex Park & Ride exit ramp, and did the same thing as yesterday (let FSD take me up the ramp), but this time I disengaged FSD at the exact same location where the Fox News video starts, which was four seconds prior to the impact.
I think the video speaks for itself.

GM,
Can someone reach Elon?
Ask him Tesla absolutely must begin production of heat pump systems designed from first principles. This would revolutionize residential and commercial HVAC, slash energy consumption, and perfectly align with the mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy.
Gaz production and transport will start to be a real problem

What happened to âwill never be driverlessâ âwill never lose the chase carâ âwill never hail a rideâ âwill never operate cameras onlyâ I could go on.
Itâs ironic youâre obsessed with Elonâs âbroken promisesâ. An audit of your X account yields endless lies, predictions proven false, and goalpost moving.
So pathetic that someone in the twilight of their life is choosing to spend it being a garbage human being.

Everybody in America needs to watch this speech from Grandma at the White House Black History Month reception:

Can we have a Cyber SUV image competition to light a fire under @Tesla engineers if they truly have not started working on this vehicle?
Thereâs no way in hell we are not going to get a CyberSUV built on the cyber truck production line.
Right?
Submit your image today along with what you think would be reasonable specifications and pricing for the data points you are looking for.
I want,
-400 miles of Range minimum.
-Three row.
-Option for a bench front seat that can do 3 across.
- dual motor.
- bi directional charging obviously
- flat as possible cargo area when all seats are folded down.

Senator Sanders, @BernieSanders you have been in Congress for over 34 years, screaming about greed and inequality the entire time, yet the federal budget has not been balanced once on your watch. Not once. You and your colleagues have racked up trillions in deficits year after year, with spending exploding on waste, fraud, and duplication. The GAO says hundreds of billions vanish annually into improper payments alone. You never demand real cuts, never force accountability, never get your own house in order. Instead, you point fingers at billionaires and demand brand new taxes on the tiny group that actually creates wealth.
Why should Americans trust you with even more money when you have proven utterly irresponsible with the record $5 trillion plus we already hand you every year? Private innovators like those you demonize allocate capital with ruthless efficiency, building companies that employ millions and solve problems. Government under your leadership is the worst steward imaginable: bloated, wasteful, and addicted to spending it does not have.
Until you balance the budget, eliminate the fraud, cut the bloat, and show you can responsibly manage what we already give you, you have zero business asking for another dime from anyone, especially not through a failed wealth tax that every serious country has abandoned.
Your post is not leadership; it is deflection. You have had decades to fix government inefficiency and failed. America deserves better than endless excuses and new taxes to fund the same irresponsibility.
Prove you are a good steward first, Senator. Then, and only then, come talk about âfair share.â We are waiting.

Time to undo the great wrong that has been committed against the people of Europe
đ¨đŠđŞ GERMANYâS âWELCOME CULTUREâ COLLAPSES: MAJORITY NOW WANT IMMIGRATION HALTED & DEPORTATIONS RAMPED UP
A new poll just dropped, and itâs a political earthquake: a majority of Germans now support an immigration moratorium and mass deportations.
The poll shows that 81% of Germans state that illegal immigration was âfar too highâ or ârather too highâ over the last 10 years, and only 5% view the levels as appropriate.
Another 75% say illegal migration has been bad for Germany.
Yes, in Germany⌠the same country that once opened its doors to over a million refugees in 2015, which was promoted by Angela Merkel, her CDU, and the left.
However, after years of failed integration, rising crime headlines, housing shortages, and mounting public frustration, the mood has flipped hard.
Nowadays, 53% of Germans favor a total moratorium on all new immigration and immigration overall, as well as the return of a large number of migrants to their homelands, otherwise known by many on the right as âremigrationâ or mass deportation.
Itâs official⌠the once-celebrated âwelcome cultureâ has turned into: enough is enough.
Berlinâs political class canât keep ignoring this shift, because the public clearly isnât.

If the suspending of accounts is going to continue erroneously there needs to be concrete evidence reported to the user as to why they were suspended.
It is unacceptable for a paying customer @dragonboy155 to lose the product they've paid for without a valid reason. @Smokehbear was suspended for 48 days before his account was re-instated. Still to this day no one knows why he was even suspended.

Hi @Tesla ,
Thanks for introducing a free trial for FSD and the lower cost that I can afford.
We had the trial on both of our Model 3s. We decided to keep FSD subscription active on my car, because I drive about 5-6000km per month.
Here is some constructive suggestion regarding FSD:
1. Personalized Routing:
As a commuter, I know things about my route a software canât know yet.
For instance, road conditions, school and transit bus routes, bad cell reception, construction vehicle (dump truck) and tractor usage of roads, or roads that FSD may make mistakes on etc. For these and other reasons it is important to add the feature of personalized routes.
The solution is simple: By allowing us to design and save a route we will provide added human experience to your model, and enjoy a better user experience.
I disengage several times per day to override routing simply to tell the vehicle to use the route I took yesterday. This could be as simple as âsave this previous trip route asâŚâ very low development costs.
2. Customizable Driving Styles:
As someone who drives a lot I am very cautious not to cause unneeded toil for my vehicle. Currently as I write this I have 358,000km of Tesla ownership.
If I could get my car to drive like an efficient human I can reduce energy costs and tire costs.
The solutions will also cause a little more common sense for the model simply by allowing us a few variables to choose from we currently canât use.
- Follow distance customizability (similar to standard Autopilot) but with much wiser max distance settings. In the winter, the spray from those in front is a reason not to use FSD. We need to be able to move the vehicle to the full 250ft or more that it can be behind a vehicle and match their speed. This seems like a simple setting to re-add, and will increase FSD capabilities for driverless conditions in the model.
We will help you to train conditions that it should extend follow distance. For safety, it would be good to simply engage a voice command during FSD usage âincrease to max follow distanceâ. You will be amazed how much our training the fleet with this will save your Robo Taxi fleet on windshield washer fluid and stone chip repairs.
- Maximum regen and efficiency user controls.
Currently FSD does not use Tesla braking like efficiently driving humans. It would be better to, in correlation with the follow distance adjustment, also have the vehicle increase its braking time to use the standard braking less, and roll at speed a little more. Another way to increase efficiency and user experience is to open the tolerance on the speed so that the vehicle will roll more - but this does not include rolling into lower speed limit zones. Currently this is a big reason I disengage and it is sometimes unsafe racing into towns from higher speed rural roads.
It would also be good to add a gauge or standard of some sort to the energy usage bar that shows green when decelerating so we can stay within an ideal watts per km, and even better if we can suggest a whpkm so the car drives more carefully and efficiently when safe to do so.
- Accelerator reduction
Right now FSD is harder on tires, including laterally. The above may allow us to fix this, but at least for now we need a way to reduce accelerator aggression and slow down more into corners.
These suggestions are not features AI needs a model for yet, but rather features that allow us to better train your model and increase user experience.
We love our Teslas! Thank you for making the worldâs best cars and always being approachable for suggestions!
