When I first played this when it was implied he would sacrifice himself I stopped it at it before he went up because I didn’t want to let him go. After that I put the game down for like a day because losing Mordin for me was devastating.

Which is why it damn near killed me to do one where I had to shoot him. I do like there’s a way to save him but you have to do some awful things to get that but for my crazy salarian it’s worth it.

This is 100% a sign that the Mass Effect Universe (ME5) sequel was going to be pure garbage. You can't account for all of the myriad choices from Mass Effect going back to 2006 and expect to create something new and exciting in 2026. Who has time for something bold when you're worrying about the status of Conrad Verner's wife, or whether Gianna Parsini was killed or was interested in Shepard or what? A little fan service is fine, but worrying about everything? No wonder they had nothing to show for 6 years of work but a 2 minute trailer.
