Bamboo crashed on Monday as Nigerians rushed to buy into the Dangote Refinery IPO, and people were lining up to defend it. "But CrowdStrike took down 40,000 systems and grounded flights too." Really, that's your defense? Same mindset as when Lagos flooded, and people ran to post videos of Japan flooding. We should stop making excuses for mediocrity.

I don't understand why burial in a place of residence is still a thing in Nigeria.
My son’s wife is refusing to allow us bury him in his house. She wants cemetery — Dad of late gospel musician, ToluwaniSings The father of late singer Toluwani Sings, Muniru Adekunle Olayemi, has appealed to his son’s wife to allow him to bury him in his house or family compound, insisting that he does not want his son buried in a church or cemetery. Toluwani d+ed on October 14, 2026, and his burial arrangements have reportedly sparked a disagreement between his father and his wife. Speaking in a recent interview, Olayemi explained that he went to see his son’s wife after learning of his de@th online and asked her to allow him to bury Toluwani at home. However, she reportedly refused and insisted that he should be buried in a cemetery. The grieving father said he would be happy if his son were buried in his house, adding that prayers could be organised there instead of burying him in a church or cemetery. “I don’t want him buried in a church or cemetery. I want him buried in his house and that will make me happy,” he said. Olayemi also recounted how his son came to live with his maternal family after the de@th of his mother in 1992, a few months after his birth. According to him, he brought his wife’s body back from Kano, but her family insisted on seeing her corpse. Afterward, they asked him to leave the child with them so they would not have to endure the pain of losing her while also caring for the baby. He said the family subsequently took care of Toluwani, explaining that his maternal relatives were Christians, which influenced the religious environment in which he grew up. The father, however, maintained that his son’s Muslim name was Sodiq Olayemi Bayonle, although he was popularly known as Toluwani Sings. He also explained that he maintained contact with his son and that his family supported the singer’s education. Olayemi is now appealing to his son’s wife and everyone involved in the burial arrangements to allow him to fulfil his wish of burying his son at home.

This seems to be the new recruiting tactic. Go to channels, talk about the government incompetences hoping they will employ you.
