The U.K. gaming industry is contributes £6–12bn to the economy with tax revenue of £2.2bn. Yet like the TV industry and the BBC, its contribution is barely acknowledged by MPs, and is mostly only referred to when there’s a reason to accuse it of something. lordslibrary.parliament.uk/u…

Yeah just absurd to know this little about the company that makes some of the biggest franchises in gaming.
And Gene Park is still at WaPo covering games!
I'm all for not doing softball interviews and asking hard questions, but insinuating Take-Two doesn't have hits is absurd. By just about any metric you could come up with it does
It's just ridiculous at this point when a major mainstream news outlet doesn't have a dedicated video game journalist
🚨NEW: Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick sat down today with @WSJ to discuss the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI.
The interviewer literally said straight to his face that they don’t have any major hits, despite the huge success of GTA 5 and Red Dead 2… 💀
Strauss’ reaction says it ALL… What a clueless clown she is… 🤡😭

Outside the Supreme Court, where the Palestine Action appeal hearing closed for the day, a man was arrested for saying, "In the UK, it's a crime to say, I support Palestine Action".
Police reportedly said it was due to the length of the pause between "crime to say" and "I support.."

One of the all time great bits is zionists calling untouched photographs of Jewish people “antisemitic caricatures”
Tell yourself whatever you want but you cannot believe in apartheid ethnostates and also be left wing

We've gone from "supporting Palestine Action is criminal" to "opposing the proscription of Palestine Action is criminal" without any new laws being passed.
It should worry anyone when opposing government decisions has been made an arrestable offence.
This is the statement issued by the Met Police about the Defend Our Juries demonstration today. Commander Adam Slonecki, from Scotland Yard, said: “All those intending on coming to this event know that supporting a proscribed organisation is unlawful – they are essentially meeting to purposefully commit a crime.” This is a remarkable contrual of the law and extent of police powers. Surely it cannot be right that someone protesting against the Government’s decision to proscribe an organisation is automatically interpreted by the Met Police as supporting that organisation and is therefore committing an arrest-able offence. This is especially the case when the proscription is being challenged in the courts. I believe the government and parliament made the wrong decision in proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation and I continue to call for its deproscription by the government. If the people turning up today to demonstrate against the proscription of Palestine Action are to be arrested for simply turning up, are we all to be criminalised for suggesting the government got this wrong?
pChal's latest YouTube video shows part of one of my Nuzlocke articles, very cool to see! Specifically this bit commenting on the language used in the OG comic. Nice to see pChal tackling this part of its legacy

Israel’s 2024 “pager attacks” were, by definition, a terrorist attack.
The pagers exploded in the faces of many children, women, and even on-duty nurses.
Israel planting explosives inside pagers that Hezbollah purchased, also guaranteed anyone else who bought them would be subject to the attack.
This was not a precise attack, but instead an attack with guaranteed children casualties.
Doing an E3 male V run for the Edgerunners 2 update and I'm having a blast ripping everyone to shreds with mantis blades and popping heads while dual wielding. Always used to go for netrunner builds but the sandevistan with blades and pistols is so so sick

crazy that labour said they’d got it wrong and then decided to just carry on getting it wrong.

Remember when Western journalists discussed whether Israel had destroyed a hospital in Gaza City?

That’s more murdered children than hostages that were captured on October 7th, yet for some reason mainstream media hasn’t touched this story in over a year. This has never been a “ceasefire” by any reasonable metric.
