Digital ID was cancelled, but the infrastructure wasn't.
Our CEO investigates what's still being built, the risks to privacy and whether the government can be held accountable.
Did Britain really scrap digital ID?
The infrastructure is expanding and most people have no idea how far it's already gone.

One year after I left my old life, ₿itCoffee is real!
It was just a vision for a long time. I didn’t know when or where it would happen.
The headquarters is located in one of the fastest growing cities and it is also very close to nature, right across from a park being built in front of my door.
In the video I walk through ₿itCoffee and the area and talk about how it came together.
Every money I ever make from X, YouTube, TikTok or anywhere else goes straight back into ₿itCoffee to make it greater and also want to build more of them!
Like it and share it.
This is just the beginning.

Serbian students overthrowing Vučić is an extraordinary achievement.
In 2024, they began protesting. In 2025, they transformed a protest movement into civil dissidence. In 2026, they became a political party — and 2 months later, crushed a corrupt state-entrenched authoritarian.

Here's how exactly Telegram provides user data to U.S. authorities. A letter recently filed in court shows how Telegram transfers that data, such as IP address and phone number.

We've written to the Financial Conduct Authority about Bitcoin's treatment under the UK's new cryptoasset rules.
Bitcoin has no issuer or controlling party. Rules built for token issuers should not be applied to it by default.
We've asked the FCA to:
- keep non-custodial software, node operators and miners outside intermediary rules
- publish guidance on when Bitcoin should be treated differently
- review Bitcoin's classification as a Restricted Mass Market Investment
Same risk, same regulation should work both ways.

The fake side event is the perfect scam because the victim does all the work.
You hand over your name, Telegram and wallet, and you confirm you're a crypto person in Singapore this week.
Nobody needs to hack you. You RSVP'd.

If you’re still in Singapore after Token 2049, don’t fall for these “side events” scams listed in Luma days after a conference to fool people who don’t want to miss out on any opportunity to network.
At best there’s no dinner booked and they are just stealing your contact info for spam and further scams. At worst you’re gonna get met with a $5 wrench.

I'm sorry but it's fucking hard not to believe in conspiracies when this series has Barack and Michelle Obama listed as executive producers. Just reads as a payoff for political capital for a pardon.

So many people have DM’d me about this trailer and I’ll be honest, watching it made me physically throw up.
I was COO from before FTX even had a name, it was my baby, and I was the last one out of the Bahamas after Sam got extradited. I lost everything I had on it and it took me a long time to get over, so I have zero interest in defending the people who caused this.
The media loves the story that FTX blew up because we were all partying in the Bahamas, but the place I worked looked nothing like that.
We had under 200 people in the core company at its peak, not counting subsidiaries, when other exchanges our size had thousands, so a lot of us were doing 16 to 18 hour days for over three years and barely had time to sleep, and whenever we walked in, day or night, Sam was at his desk.
I worked with Caroline and never once saw her get aggressive like she does in this trailer. She’s quiet and mild, and often lost in her own thoughts.
Most of us didn’t even know she and Sam were dating until we read about it after the bankruptcy, and I never saw him so much as put an arm around anyone.
FTX’s collapse ruined so many people’s lives, including ours, and Netflix decided to make it a love story.
Shame on you @netflix.

My spy-implanted ledger came from Malaysia, and had flawless shrink wrap. Even opening it, at first you don't see the implant which is cleverly hidden where the screen's padding is supposed to be.

Nobody seems to be talking about it.
But this week marks 10 years since Lightning's first transaction (100 test sats for a cat picture).
In 2024, Braiins Pool became the first mining pool to offer Lightning payouts, and I'm still proud of that one.
First Day Token2049
> 90% of the conversations are RWA, Tokenized Stocks, Structured Products (i.e. the institutionalization of crypto)
> 10% in AI, the financialization of compute and every single asset, bringing them onchain
> Surprisingly (or not) VCs, liquid funds, traders are talking about Grass and how bullish they are
> Venice, Near, Pumpfun, Orbio get mentioned quite a bit as well
> Most aren't aware of the Onchain/DeAI wave that's happening + most don't understand the value prop of onchain/decentralized inference, x402, and the budding ecosystem of tokenized inference credit markets
> Seeing many teams working as frontends for Hyperliquid, Ondo, Polymarket, and other venues
> These are trading platform, AI agent trading strategy platform, and DeFi protocols building structured products on top of infra that enables users to do more with their capital (e.g. AI strats that long 10 crypto assets & short 10 tokenized stocks, yield-bearing token that earns yields from a combination of tokenized assets and prediction market strategies)
> More people are coming onchain because onboarding is getting better + tokenized assets offer far more value vs traditional brokers (i.e. 24/7 trading, collateralized your asset, earn more yields through lending, basis trading strats, etc)
Overall, the crowd has gone down by 50%+, less builders around, more traders, investors, KOLs, and institutions
The vibe feels more institutionalized than the last. A lot less excitement from the retail crowd compared to the last.
Honestly don't know how to feel about this lol
