¡Enhorabuena, Morante! 💚

We talk about ‘developing players’, as if coaches, clubs or federations produce development. We can’t. Players develop themselves by perceiving, acting, adapting & learning through experience. Our job isn’t to manufacture talent, but create environments where development emerges.

Si buscas autonomía, creatividad e innovación, no ofrezcas respuestas sino interrogantes.

The more I coach the more true this becomes: If I’m talking more than the players on the field, I am no longer coaching.

Think early stars become world champions? Think again! Early stars rarely shine the longest. A study of 34,000 top performers found that 90% of childhood prodigies never reach the adult elite. 👇🏼 science.org/doi/10.1126/scie… #TalentDevelopment #LongTermDevelopment #YouthDevelopment
