This has a lot of good ideas behind it. I just didn’t laugh that much.

Most useful technologies aren't judged by whether they produce important cultural artifacts.
I want to remind that, despite billions of sessions and hundreds of terabytes worth of data over half a decade, generative AI tools have produced at most five (5) culturally significant works. All of AI's "contributions" are things humans can do better with less effort and time.

The fact that humanity accomplished remarkable things before a technology existed doesn't tell us whether that technology is worthwhile.

That's not how computers work. No system level homwbrew can overheat your system because the vita and every other device in history has firmware level thermal throttling and hardcoded max cpu/gpu clocks so this can never happen.

Yeah sorry but if you’re using ANY software of ANY kind right now, you’re interacting with “muh AI vibecoded slop.” Programmers use AI now. There is no “but.” All of them do. If they say they don’t, they’re either lying or retired. It’s just numbers on a screen. Get over it.

what's weird to me is how they treat programmers as if they're artisans like coding isn't mostly "as long as it works and isn't spaghetti its ok". it's so strange how the argument is "stolen code" as if it's meticolously crafted to be your own personal code like poetry

Having access to an accommodating cafe is not evidence of poverty fabrication. Can you goobers actually do research before shooting your mouths off?
JK Rowling has always lied. She pushed a rags to riches story but she was never poor. She lounged about in a cafe all day to write her book. The point is, everything she says is a lie. This means everything she says about LGBTQIA+ people can be disregarded.

It's so funny seeing people put South Park characters in anything that isn't South Park because they always end up being either stupidly wide relative to a normal person or less than a foot tall.
Who's the better manipulator between the two?

According to Drew concept was never fully developed or established as the definitive ending.
The Reapers' motive was originally going to be tied to dark energy building up from eezo use. That's why Haestrom's sun acts strangely in Mass Effect 2. The idea was dropped after lead writer Drew Karpyshyn left the series. #MassEffect
