I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

Check the 1950’s book with Barry Allen and how it talks about Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrech reaction, it’s also talks about the fanzine culture that grew from it. Now each book is divided by year so just look at the year 1956-8 should you read the book

I like that this video resurfaces every so often and it gets so many people mad just cause he asks for the mission design to not feel outdated
This is why it's taking me so long to beat RDR2. The open world aspect is fun and the narrative is great but the constant riding from point A to point B structure of the linear missions is so exhausting. It's probably why I can't play for more than an hour when doing story stuff

Did some research and found out this comic only exists bc of a competition between Bill Jemas and Peter David to have the most copies sold of their respective comics (Marville for Bill, Captain Marvel for David)
Not sure if the latter is good but so far I can see why Bill lost
I’m probably gonna regret reading this but it can’t be much worse than Unfunnies

he makes this point in the video, but playing this was especially jarring because MGSV and Hitman were released not too long before RDR2.

It is completely puzzling to me why they think this sort of thing would do anything. Like the use of copyrighted material for training is a secret.

I make a living writing code and you're a moron who's ngmi

you don't get to pick and choose what forms of generative ai are fine, that's genuinely just insulting as fuck to people who make their living out of coding as an art medium. i'm like 90% sure you're only saying this specifically cuz it's a project you like
