In July 2001, while wading in knee-deep water near Pensacola, Florida, 8-year-old Jessie Arbogast was attacked by a 7-foot bull shark.
The shark had bitten off one of Jesse's arms and part of his thigh, before Jesse's Uncle pulled the shark away and wrestled it to shore while Jesse was rushed to hospital.
Once the shark was on the shore, a park service ranger shot the shark in the head, the men then retrieved Jesse's severed arm from the sharks throat, put it on ice, and transported it to the hospital where it was successfully reattached to Jesse.

Dwayne Haskins’ death is another reminder that we should pay attention to how we talk about athletes even when they fall short of expectations. We should always remember to treat them with humanity. It’s just a game. I try to follow this advice but admittedly fall short sometimes
RIP DWAYNE HASKINS 🙏🏾🕊
Yesterday was a sad day for many who have seen him grown to be such an amazing player on and off the field. Prayers to his Wife and Family ! ❤️
“I’m going to college here”
Dwayne Haskins wanted to be a Buckeye from the jump. Ended up building a legacy there:

This Katie Meyer story is sitting so heavy with me… I quit my full time job in college athletics to pursue a PhD for Katie Meyer. To help student-athletes get the protection and help they deserve. This topic isn’t talked about enough. There is currently no mandates for any (1/3)
