This doesn't surprise me. Some years ago, I had a nasty fall in Times Square. I was on the ground, screaming in agony, as it would turn out, I'd broken a bone. People kept walking by. Nobody, except ironically, the homeless people on the street were the ones who helped me.
I am in disbelief that after Javits Frimpong was shot in the stomach, he laid there on the concrete for 30 minutes b/c multiple people saw him, walked by and didn’t call 911. He could’ve survived. So many people failed him and that’s a reflection of a “me first” community.

Study Tip: Use AI efficiently while studying. Talk to it like you'll talk to someone you really need help from. It's a very effective tool.

God bless you chief! These are the rules I abide by as well.
Simple rules 1. You don't have to reply everyone 2. You don't have to present your controversial takes to the public 3. Avoid confrontations as much as possible even when goaded 4. You don't have to jump on every topic 5. Some discussions with mutuals can be taken offline

Nigeria is strange! Lofty achievements simply remain unsustainable. Between 2009 and 2017, Governor @Segunmimiko's Abiye (Safe Motherhood) and Agbebiye maternal and child health initiatives were able to reduce maternal mortality rate in Ondo State by 84.9%, from 745 per 100,000 live births in 2009 to 112 per 100,000 live births in 2016. It was so efficient that the @WorldBankGroup recommended it as a template for achieving the targets of the MDGs on maternal health within the African continent. Safe to conclude that Mimiko's successors had other ideas, because how does one explain that Ondo State is not even among Nigeria’s top 10 states with the highest skilled antenatal care coverage just 9 years after the man left office? 😪 P.S - The Nigerian Demographic Health Survey in 2008 ranked Ondo State as the worst in the entire south west in terms of maternal & child health indices. That was a year before Mimiko took the saddle.
🇳🇬NIGERIA STATES WITH THE HIGHEST SKILLED ANTENATAL CARE COVERAGE (State — Skilled Antenatal care %) 1 🟢Enugu — 99.3% 2 🟢Anambra — 95.4% 3 🟢Ebonyi — 95.4% 4 🟠FCT-Abuja — 93.6% 5 🟣Lagos — 91.5% 6 🟢Imo — 90.9% 7 🟤Edo — 89.3% 8 🟤Rivers — 87.5% 9 🟤Delta — 87.0% 10 🟣Ogun — 85.1% Skilled antenatal care (ANC) means pregnancy care provided by qualified health professionals, including doctors, nurses, midwives and auxiliary midwives. It helps monitor the health of pregnant women and identify potential complications. #Statisense (NDHS, 2024)
