Personally, I am suffering as well at the hands of a “professional” who has studied at a “top college”. Went to him because a friend recommended him. He charged me double of what the other professionals asked for.
After all these precautions:
I am still suffering. He is still providing substandard service and has a “chalta hai” attitude. Doesn’t deliver on time. Does not even communicate in case of a delay or even pick up his phone when called.
But I can’t do anything because he is very well connected. I can’t even name him / put a bad review because I don’t want to be in his bad books.
This is when I am paying him.
I just hope once the work finishes I never have to see him again.

Nobody asks what you do when you say you are abroad. It’s an instant signal of prosperity. This is the dream that’s sold by agents to rich kids, who pass borders illegally and now are sent back.
