We are deeply saddened by the death of Aldo Figallo Orellano. Aldo studied and worked in UNS (Bahia Blanca, Argentina) and recently held positions in UNICAMP, UFRN, and USP (Brazil).
As colleagues who knew him, we send our condolences to his family and loved ones.

Twenty years ago, in Lisbon, I had the experience of watching Daniel Dennett deliver his Petrus Hispanus Lecture, and then took him out for lunch. We talked about what goes on in a bat's mind, and more. I wish I had had more opportunities to access Dennett's extraordinary mind.
