But why have people like this on the show?

Confused. Huge demand for Coreweave’s product but they can’t raise funding. Someone doesn’t believe something.
*BLACKSTONE PRESIDENT WE DONT SEE AN AI BUBBLE. $CRWV WILL BE FINE When you think about a bubble, you think about building capacity and then hoping the demand comes. With AI you're building capacity & you're hoping you can keep up with the demand. Demand for AI is parabolic…

Almost the entirety of the British Highstreet is now made up of 3 types of businesses: 1) Private Equity owned companies (Pizza Express, Burger King, Cafe Rouge, The Body Shop, Wagamamas, Zizzi, New Look, Bella Italia, Boots, WH Smith, etc) 2) Foreign owned businesses acting as fronts for skilled visa migrant scams and/or money laundering enterprises (Hairdressers, Kebab Shops, Vape Shops, etc) 3) Charity Shops. Largely in existence to sell off items left when people die. It's difficult to imagine anything more dystopian than this.

I can’t help but notice some Americans are using Tesla demoing a shell concept car hopping for two seconds as some kind of global claim of technical superiority. Well… Thrust-based vertical manoeuvring? Developed in Britain in 1957, culminating in the Harrier Jump Jet, with the P.1127 making its first hover in 1960. And the upside-down car stuff? That’s fan-generated downforce, already demonstrated by British car company McMurtry with its electric Spéirling, which has been destroying track records around the world for the last few years using that exact technology. So let’s not confuse demonstrating an existing engineering principle for the first time in a Tesla prototype to inventing the underlying technology. And the difference is, both the Harrier and McMurtry are real world products, not vastly adapted prototypes designed for a single demonstration. Rule Britannia, spiffing stuff boys and all that. 🇬🇧

A year and a half after Europe the US follows. Sorry Elon arse lickers, keep up.
Por cierto, la succión no es una innovación de Tesla. McMurtry Spéirling la presentó hace año y medio en Europa sin tanta fanfarria

Extraordinary how one can make a good living pumping out shit like this. #Howtobeanobody

Tesla fans, this is actually what vertical take off and landing looks like, invented in Britain by Hawker Siddeley in 1960. Was still in use with the US Marines up until this year.

It’s a shame Tesla still can’t make its windscreen wipers work properly.
Designed, engineered, and made in America

Another moron. Does it fly? No, but it exists and is road legal.

Honestly the shit people are talking about this admittedly amazing stunt. This being available to buy in 2028? It’s not on-creative minds. It’s not being a moronic arse licker.
I believe most people underestimate technology like this because they have non-creative minds. @Tesla doesn’t seem like real life at first because… First-order thinking: "We don't need rockets on a car." Second-order thinking: boost out of a crash before it happens. Multi-level highways without building onramps, boost to lvl 2/3/4. Park outside your window in an apartment block. Literally even just rocket jet some loser trying kidnap your family members. So many use cases it's insane. We live in the greatest timeline to experience tech like this. What's the first thing you'd use it for?

Come on Europe. Musk in charge of Starlink is unacceptable. He is aiding and abetting murder. To ensure ever more government subsidies. Murder for money. We cannot let this persist indefinitely.
Aspiring European competitor to Starlink, Eutelsat, soars on the news of U.S. throttling access for Ukraine. Investors expect European defense billions to be diverted from U.S. companies, and SpaceX in particular.

Together we must rediscover the American spirit.

Whose bribing who at Strictly? S Wright Philips was a complete wooden-tot. How can he possibly have been voted through? Absurd. This season is not looking good.

Good to see Donald buy Russian diesel instead of Canadian. I know its right on USA border but they sell imperialist, woke diesel that makes your truck gay.

You can’t take anyone seriously who writes ‘SI’. Too pathetic for words.
Satya is right. The way to make SI safe is not to train it with a sense of self, its own moral philosophy, and permission to act as a conscientious objector. That’s the “alignment” approach and it magnifies the control problem. The engineering approach that Satya describes is different: separate the supply of intelligence from authority over it. Surround non-deterministic models with deterministic controls, observability, privilege limits, logging, and the ability to always contain or shut them down. Treat models/agents like powerful insider risks, not moral patients whose psychological wellbeing is at stake. As Satya points out, the most trustworthy system is the one that lets us trust the model the least — not the one that encourages the model to develop independent agency and grievances. Engineering safety is not the same thing as “alignment.”
