Stablecoins made it much easier to move money out of Latin America. We spoke to five industry executives about what this shift means, and what could persuade that money to return. Featuring insights from: - Farhad Farhadi, @Intelliwealth_ - @degenroot, @raikucom - @kkvanderleest, @BVNKFinance - @MerlinEgalite, @Morpho - @apnmrev, @xplaceapp The piece builds on our latest BeInCrypto Intelligence report, "The Exodus Economy", which traces six routes money takes out of the region and audits 12 products marketed as dollar accounts. beincrypto.com/latam-stablec…

never underestimate the ability of small group of dedicated people to change the world. in fact, it’s the only thing that ever has.

credit cards are cooked. if people are applying for your high interest card, it’s not because you cracked distribution. it’s because they couldn’t get a lower rate anywhere else. high rates attract low quality clients. lower the rate and prime clients show up.

real estate is still a cheat code. just had dinner with a 32yo guy who bought his first house at 22 with a 10% initial deposit. refinanced it. pulled the equity. bought a £120k commercial unit that was massively undervalued. converted it into 2 flats. sold 9 months later for £180k. now he owns 10+ properties… and he’s bored because the game got too easy. who’s still sleeping on this?

this is exactly it. thanks for coming down 🙏 and thanks to everyone who joined us and @SuperteamUK today.
DeFi lending and borrowing is fine but actually using it and converting back to Fiat money is a headache every time. Today I was introduced to one of the best innovations I've seen in the Crypto space in a long time. Deposit your crypto into a regular bank account similar to Kast, and then instead of it converting to USD you borrow USD against it inside the app. Genius idea, I hate selling my crypto, I know the bull run will return, why would I realise a profit/loss now, I'd much rather borrow against it. More people in crypto need to use this in my opinion, the company is called @xplaceapp and today their Founder @apnmrev did a presentation about this and I signed up straight away, even before he finished presenting and soon I'll be transferring all unused Crypto to this and finally using it for all sorts of things, "putting my money to work just like the Rich does" Artem said in his presentation at @SuperteamUK Co-working space. Cannot wait for them to move into Business bank accounts as well. Great way to end the week.

Life shouldn't be about choosing between buying Apple stock or paying rent. With @xplaceapp you can do both, says @apnmrev "Right now we are living in an economy that everyone sees is asset rich but cash poor." "A lot of people are making decisions by the end of each month whether I invest in Apple stock, whether I buy an asset, or actually just pay my rent." "We believe that it's fundamentally wrong. You shouldn't be choosing between compounding and consuming at any time of your life." "You can actually stay invested, you can actually invest in appreciating assets, and at the same time just fund your lifestyle without making a compromise in any of that."

exceptional hosting, thanks for having me @drewrogers the unsolved problem in crypto isn’t how to make money, but how to spend without selling your assets. worth a listen if that’s the problem you have.
Every time a crypto holder sells their assets to spend on anything, they trigger a taxable event and ultimately forfeit their position. Private banks have offered portfolio-backed loans for decades, but they set the entry floor at $10 million in assets. "If you have 10 million plus worth of assets, you can go to JP Morgan or any other big private bank and you can potentially get a loan on good terms. But if you are below that net worth, you still want to get access to that opportunity. And this is actually what we're bridging to the real life." "Once you try it, you don't want to come back to actually selling your crypto to spend," says @apnmrev, Founder of @xplaceapp Who's actually offering portfolio-backed lending below $10M right now?

the struggle is real as fuck. just looked at my diary when i started my first company... you start the company thinking you'll build something beautiful. hire the smartest people. ship something that delights customers. then reality hits. product's broken. market moved. team losing faith. cash running low. VCs saying "tough raise right now." competitors eating your lunch. great people quitting. you start questioning everything. why did i even start this. am i good enough. should i quit. that feeling? that's the struggle. ben horowitz nailed it years ago and it still hits different in 2026: the struggle is when food loses its taste. the struggle is when you're surrounded by people and feel completely alone. the struggle is where self-doubt turns into self-hatred. the struggle is not failure… but it causes failure if you're weak. most people aren't strong enough. every great founder went through it. and the ones who didn't? they went through it too. they just didn't survive it. what actually helps: share the burden. your team can take more truth than you think. there's always a move. this isn't checkers. focus on the road, not the wall. play long enough and you might get lucky. don't take it personally… even when it is 100% your fault. if you're in it right now building something real (crypto, ai, whatever): you're not alone. and this is exactly what separates the ones who make it from the ones who don't. keep going. that's the whole game.

saudi vision 2030 is actually insane. just spoke to a 28 yo who runs advisory for saudi family offices. they’re pouring billions into anything that fits the vision: edtech with zero traction? $10m ai b2b saas for car dealerships in riyadh? $50m recycling startup with just a pitch deck in jeddah? $25m insane money is there. almost no real startups. literally the easiest market on earth to raise and build a unicorn now.

buying a home in london is actually insane. just spoke to my friend who moved from milan. associate in IB and still can’t afford a mid-tier house. why? boomers parked almost their entire net worth in one asset. so governments (uk, us, eu) spent decades inflating house prices to keep the biggest voting bloc feeling rich. now everyone’s wealth is trapped in the same thing… and prices can never be allowed to fall. please diversify. if not for risk management, then for next generations.

gen z is cooked. nobody chooses the hard thing anymore. instead of building real businesses with moats they sell courses. instead of reading books they listen to podcasts. instead of having hard conversations they stay silent. instead of eating clean and hitting the gym they do peptides. hard times create hard men. you’re blessed to live in easy times. now go own your decade.

we’re now adding 250+ members per week. people are done selling their assets just to fund their lifestyle. @xplaceapp is for those who refuse to settle for less: - earn yield on your collateral - spend without selling - 4% cashback still early.

my favorite market to break into is a saturated market. a saturated market is full of legacy corporations, suits and systems. you do not need to recreate the wheel. you need to take that wheel and make it better for the new era. that’s all we do with @xplaceapp. a saturated market is the biggest opportunity for you all.
