I am so excited announce that @BesteverAI has been acquired by @samba_tv!
We acquired @besteverai, the AI platform built for advertisers. Samba welcomes the Bestever AI team, including founder and CEO @appyg99, who joins as Director of Product leading our AI strategy.
Every adtech company is racing to hand campaign management to AI agents. Our contrarian bet: the agents that win will be built on deep, first-party signals.
Samba understands audience behavior at scale, including how 1.5 billion opted-in users watch TV and what they consume online. With this acquisition, we're turning that deterministic data into autonomous agents for brands and agencies.
Samba is thrilled to have Apoorva and team building what's next with us. 🚀

This year, I’ve smelled more cigarette smoke on the streets of San Francisco than I have in the last 10+ yrs. I would say it’s a top signal. Youth having a little edge, taking a little risk is what makes life exciting. Hope they eventually kick it, but until then, let it rip!
Ok new authentic Indian restaurant in town!! Noor on Embarcadero is pretty legit. Smoky, spicy and not your usual sugary garbage.
What’s the difference between dots & ChatGPT chat? In fact, what’s the difference between chat & cowork? They all seem to be melding into each other. It makes no sense to the user & it’s the classic symptom of shipping the org structure.
There would be less resentment of successful nerds if basic education didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Society would be more equal if young people could study linguistics or other non-lucrative topics without accruing crippling debt.
VCs so badly want to invest in consumer AI that they’re just changing the definition of what consumer AI means. Canva/Higgsfield/Openrouter even? Come on…
AI content already has mass market adoption. My taxi driver here in Greece opened his Instagram at the traffic light, clicked on some AI-generated chipmunk video sent to him by a certain “Maria” and chuckled to himself.

Saw a tech guy in shorts, standing outside my office, browsing Twitter, smoking a cigarette with a bottle of Riesling in tow. San Francisco finally has a vibe that’s beyond AI nerdery. Maybe there is hope after all and kids might take over dogs some day
I think Instinct and Muse feel very similar in their outcomes. I churned off Instinct because I trust Meta with my email access over a startup but beyond that, it's hard to tell what the differentiation will be.
