and miraculously, IT DOES exist. I'm astounded by Kriegsfront Tactics, it does almost EVERYTHING in my wishlist of features I'm dreaming up in my "ideal mech tactics game" the caveat: only the prologue is out yet and still NO RELEASE DATE. 💔💔 rooting for you guys @kriegsfront

went straight into Front Mission 3R after my Battletech binge and I'm immediately missing the more in-depth and tactical combat. the line of sight mechanics, cover, armor, no healing etc the ideal mech tactics game in my mind would combine the best features of these two together

Great news, Gran Turismo 6 also has crossplay now! Bad news: That game existing makes finding GT5 players pretty hard, it's still a shame GT6 axed Shuffles outright.

Gran Turismo 5 revival server now has crossplay support between PS3 & RPCS3. Will have to capture it once I manage to find a Shuffle Race lobby.

There's a noticeable bias in western gaming media against any Japanese game that isn't made by Nintendo, and once you notice it you can't stop noticing it I remember how HAWX was lauded for "pioneering" the flight action genre while AC6 was barely even acknowledged
