When I finished arts high school, I had to choose: art university or medical school. What seemed like a choice between art and psychology didn't quite turn out to be the choice I thought it was.

I can't talk too much about my November exhibition yet, but here is exciting, if unrelated, news: after trying a few intensive butoh workshops, I'm starting weekly ones in June. More of a personal project than a commercial one. Photos from a butoh-inspired performance with @clintcatalyst and live music by Paris Sadonis at the Dark Arts Festival - long ago, far away, brazen butoh without formal training. Better late than never.

My current project is largely conceptual, with many moving practical parts. It will culminate in November, so I'm grateful to have the visual outlet of photography to play with meanwhile. Here is another from my shoot with #MutsumiNeiro at @abneyparkn16 🪦🌱💖
