Julius Caesar was so deeply in debt in his 30s that his creditors tried to stop him from leaving Rome. He left anyway, went to Spain, conquered it, and came back rich and powerful. Yes, you can start all over again.
Can a 28 year old start all over again?

To everyone going through a difficult phase in life, I pray that God gives us peace of mind, strength for each day and reasons to smile again. May life be kinder to us. ❤️

I’ve cried, prayed, waited and tried again. Dear God, what else should I do? Please come through for me.

Nobody talks about how exhausting it is to constantly fight the urge to give up on your own life. One minute you’re telling yourself to stay strong because things will get better, the next you’re so fucking done with everything that even trying feels pointless. I’m tired of being my own source of hope and my own biggest reason to lose it.

how frustrating is it to have the ambition to change your life but not the financial freedom to make your next move without risking everything

DA did not get much votes! They maintained their strongholds and their whites unshaken. Against shaken 543 black political parties who ensure votes are split amongst all of them. You guys really have potential because you are committed and passionate about building a South Africa that works for its people, but like I have said, it is misguided and misinformed!

The biggest victory is having ehailing sector democratising and formalising their operations. We now have associations and leaders in the sector. There is harmony amongst ehailing and meter taxi operators, we have advocated for the establishment of the Municipal Regulatory Entity which we are still to operationalise and we are the only municipality in the country to do this. Where we don’t only rely on the province to issue our operating permits 🇿🇦❤️ We have reduced the backlog on operating licences that were supposed to be issued to operators, we are getting Apps to account and owners not to abdicate their responsibilities to drivers but must be accountable. We’ve established systems that will exist beyond us and help us improve our public transport systems beyond 2026. And this makes me soo proud⚫️🟢🟡. I leave the department of Roads & Transport with so much lessons, knowledge and established relations with the different sectors of our region who I love dearly Re a leboga, Ndza khensa 🇿🇦
Today it’s a special day and i thank God and my organisation for the opportunity it provided me to do what I love the most, to serve and to be amongst the people daily ❤️🇿🇦. As MMC for Roads and Transport, I am engaging with e-hailing/ e-meter operators in a feedback session to report on progress made since assuming office, reflect on interventions undertaken and provide an update on issues affecting the sector. Whilst some achievements we have achieved, there remains a lot of issues and challenges that we need to still resolve with this sector. This engagement also provides an opportunity to strengthen collaboration with operators and collectively develop a systematic way forward that supports the sustainability and continued operations of the e-hailing industry. #Bastrata

I love how South Africans are showing up and demonstrating their love for the African National Congress. Real people with real experiences and a story to tell South Africans who appreciate the fact that whilst there may be issues they are not happy about with this leader of society, it doesn’t warrant the ignorant attempt to obliterate and disintegrate black power in this country. They demand that the ANC must do everything in our powers to fight corruption, end unemployment and ensure government deploys capable and qualifying people in positions of power so they can deliver on services, they demand that we deal with the immigration challenges the country is faced with and deal with illegal foreigners and the ANC will. We remain in this ANC because we know it is our inheritance, it is our legacy and our four bearers shed blood for us to thrive in our own land. And that we must be the ones who get our organisation right and continue to serve the people🇿🇦 The Anti-ANC media mobilisation and crowd funding will only mislead a few! As South Africans, we know where we come from and where we are going. 600 political parties registered for this upcoming elections and some 546 qualified to participate in the elections, of this 546, only two represent the minority share of our population and have remained these two since 1994. The remaining 543 are representing various black political parties and yes, a well oiled plan to disintegrate us is fully in place. We can only hope that sooner than later, we will have the country’s progressive camp seat and reflect on what this truly means for the future of this country and how we can avert political and economic bloodbath we are busy enabling in our country.
