i don’t think there will be a need for digital software in the future it’s seeming like operating systems won’t be a thing, all your info will be on a cloud and a file marked just for you they want ALL your data, not just some.. they hate the idea of private storage nothing on a computer will require hands, “remembering” to any extent, coding, etc etc. it’ll all be one free flowing system. the ai operating system (which will basically be what’s under the shell of a computer whether it’s glasses or phone) will be so fast and so good that it will simulate the exact product solution/software you need in that moment for a task thats assuming you’ll be doing the tasks anyway and they weren’t predicted and finished a week ago companies for a while will still be considered at the top, but that’ll only be for major suppliers of things like internet communication, physical product of technology, servers, and things of that sort (speaking technology wise, not saying markets a whole will cease to exist… which i have a whole different opinion on) everything will be running on a big system, the internet is just the ground rails, communication will be shared through everything around you 24/7 all at once… but only when you’re looking at it. the beginning of this has already started, but will hyper accelerate when openai or anthropic release a computer where the OS is just one of their models i assume this will happen eventually, maybe not next 5 years, maybe not 10, but in our lifetimes for sure. i don’t think i’m very far off here.
