I wouldn’t hold your breath. John Mayer has been waiting on the world to change since ‘06.

if I see a wheel, I need to be on it, big wheels, London eye, Ferris wheels, tire swings, anything that goes in a circle.
I’m basically just an oversized hamster.

Not to be dramatic it's literally the worst thing imaginable to tell a joke and no one laughs, and I would rather die

9:21pm in suburbia, on a wednesday
a dark day. a friend lost.
grief abounds. it’s quiet here, save for the crickets’ song and the high metallic reverberations from the buoys swaying in the harbor.
my head hurts and my body is weak, but mercifully the high fever broke.
i wonder…i wonder. no.
i will save what i wonder for myself.
i’m deep in thought now and thumbing through the odd coincidences that seem to mark the past few days.
I had asked someone not three nights ago that if they had a crystal ball that could reveal to them the answer to anything they ever wanted to know, or could show them anything they wanted to see, what would they ask if it.
the question was where do we go when we die. is it a place, is it darkness, or it is something more.
the question struck me to my core in the moment because of its divine simplicity. wanting to know the end of the arc that is life itself.
it’s the perfect question.
one we all hold inside of us, careful never to assume one thing or the other and treading lightly for superstition’s sake.
i don’t know where we go.
but my friend now knows.
and there is a odd comfort in that for me. that the universe itself is pouring out her mysteries to the dearly departed while I sit at my window and listen to the crickets’ song.

Oh just a case of heat exhaustion from the hot and humid weather we’ve been having this last week. Thankful for the opportunity to rest a few days. #rest #hotweather
