AI recipe to win: fast, smart and cheap. Jev (classifier) and new deepseek (LLM) both are in this category for me. I’m excited for the future.

oxlint + oxfmt might be the best thing that happened to javascript tooling if you're still using eslint + prettier in 2026, i'm genuinely concerned

finally found the right metaphor for this shift in how i use opencode. i used to treat it like 3D printing, where you build the thing layer by layer and commit to each piece as you go now it feels more like progressive rendering, you start with a blurry version of the whole thing, then keep making full passes over it, and each pass sharpens the entire shape doing this with gpt 5.5 and voice prompting is the first time things feel like they're clicking

If youre even a little bit ambitious, you will almost always be miserable not because youre not doing well, but because you expect a LOT from yourself and you're always in a hurry to do things you constantly compare yourself with others (even if you know that its completely irrelevant) wins become meh, which means even if you win you will treat it as the least acceptable possible outcome, not a reason to celebrate but a threshold that you must always pass guilt kicks in even if you take a day off or don't open your laptop, work all day everyday and you're not satisfied either weird place to be in

Excited to share “Poisoned Wells,” which presents the largest point-in-time study of website blocking in India to date. I tested the blocking of 294 million apex domains across six Indian ISPs, sending 1.76 billion DNS queries in total.

Give someone state and they'll have a bug one day, but teach them how to represent state in two separate locations that have to be kept in sync and they'll have bugs for a lifetime

TanStack Start is what Next.js should have been. Simple. Robust. Flexible. The DX is fantastic—landing pages, blogs, web apps, even REST APIs are all easy to build and deploy. First-class TanStack Query integration makes data fetching a breeze. And it's dead-simple to deploy to Cloudflare, Netlify or Vercel. I'm not going back.

Rewrote my project from @nextjs to @tan_stack start Why: - Better performance - Better type-safety - Because I love Vite - No vercel vendor lock-in - 100% compatible with Bun Migration took about an hour

Hot take: As a developer, your portfolio link shouldn’t be ending with .vercel.app or .netlify.app. Even a cheap .xyz domain is better. Little details like this count more than we think.
Give me your tech hot take, and my job is to try and defend it as much as possible.

Unpopular opinion: “Confirm password” fields are bad. Forcing users to enter passwords twice adds friction and lowers conversion rates. Why optimize for a couple users who make a typo? Just let them reset their password. More friction for a few, less friction for most. 👌

He changed frontend engineering forever. The Satoshi of UI. No one knows his whereabouts or his real name. He didn't ship a component system, he shipped a system to ship component systems.

BetterAuth appreciation post: Every ecosystem needs a solid auth library. For Rails, that's Devise, and Laravel has Sanctum JS has seen options come and go (passport.js, nextauth, Lucia), so I'm just happy we finally have one that actually works. Shoutout to @bekacru
