Jedixson Paez has been called up to start tonight for the Red Sox.
Jedixson had never pitched above AA before this year, and he started the season with the White Sox MLB team via the Rule 5 draft.
Paez was returned to the Red Sox, made 17 appearances for AA Portland, was promoted to AAA and has looked really good down there in his 3 starts.

Here is the video where you can see that the @BlueJays do indeed leave the field on their own. After the infielders have crossed, the home plate umpire mistakenly wipes the @RedSox run off the board, which of course they fixed.
So the Blue Jays were NOT denied an opportunity to appeal. They just didn’t, because none of them knew to appeal it. They voluntarily left the field.

Hold on! The Red Sox should get a run there as it scored before the appeal out at 1B. Unless the Jays appeal that
Hey @SoxBooth, the umpire at 2nd did not make an out call. He made an Obstruction call against Sogard.

Also, my other account "Ruben Lip" is still hacked, and someone else is posting from it as "sawfly_stichus". That ain't me!
I suspect @JomboyMedia doesn't know what a foul tip is.
Spoiler alert: that ain't one.
