Mount Clemens, Mich. - Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that 24-year-old Mohammad Kheir Aamer Al Krad, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, was arraigned on multiple felonies stemming from an alleged shooting on Sunday, November 1, 2026, in Warren, Michigan. It is alleged that on November 1, 2026, Al Krad was driving a vehicle in Warren when he fired multiple gunshots in the direction of another vehicle, striking the front-seat passenger. The victim suffered nonfatal gunshot wounds and was transported to Henry Ford Warren Hospital for medical treatment. Through their investigation, law enforcement officers identified Al Krad as a suspect in the shooting and located him at his residence, where he was taken into custody without incident. On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Al Krad was arraigned before Judge Michael Chupa in the 37th District Court in Warren, Michigan on the following charges: • Two counts – Assault with Intent to Murder, a felony punishable by life or any term of years • Weapons – Firearms – Discharge from a Vehicle Causing Injury, 15-year felony • Weapons – Firearms – Discharge from a Vehicle, 10-year felony • Four counts - Felony Firearm, each count is a felony, punishable by mandatory 2 years incarceration, consecutive to other terms. The charges are the maximum available under the law based upon the evidence presented to date. Judge Chupa set bond at $1 million, cash or surety only. As conditions of bond, Al Krad must surrender his passport, wear a steel-cuff GPS tether if bond is posted, refrain from possessing or using firearms, remain in Michigan, and have no contact with the complaining witnesses. “No one should have to fear for their safety because of gun violence in our community. We take these cases seriously and will seek accountability from those responsible," stated Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. Al Krad is scheduled to appear at a Probable Cause Conference before Judge John M. Chmura in the 37th District Court in Warren on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office represents the People.
