These photo ops are too much. The only place this dork harvests olives is a Manhattan Whole Foods or Trader Joe's pending Mamdani opening a "subsidized" grocery store
Back in the field harvesting olives this morning at the invitation of Palestinian families (near Beit Jala today) with @rabbijilljacobs @truahrabbis and many other new released-from-detention friends. Our harvest today was peaceful & successful. Sadly, another harvest in Masafer Yatta was not. Settlers attacked Palestinian farmers — but the IDF arrested two of the farmers, and evicted the others from their own land, after declaring it a closed military zone. Sound familiar? It’s happening every single day.

Jack Smith sought to publish on the public record all his trial evidence against President Trump 10 weeks prior to the 2024 election for no reason other than to have the electorate know his side of the case. Jack Smith destroyed the DOJ "norm." What's the saying about toothpaste out of the tube?
I have read the charging document alleging a series of criminal acts by a member of the Virginia Senate. In our American system of justice, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and that is true for Senator L. Louise Lucas. She and her family deserve the opportunity to present their defense and speak to the allegations presented. The timing of this indictment undermines the U.S. Department of Justice’s previously longstanding policy of not taking legal actions — to include indictments or significant investigative steps — close to an election and sadly, this timing further erodes the trust the American people deserve to have in the Department of Justice.

In the article, the Hill admits that the injunction only applies when we “know, suspect, or should reasonably know or suspect [the people] are U.S. citizens.” Yet the headline suggests the judge blocked “most” operations about noncitizen voting, which by definition are not about U.S. citizens.

Ms. Satterthwaite, you should disclose that you received $450,000 from the Ford Foundation which has close ties with international courts in The Hague. (Source: unwatch.org/special-rapporte…)
I am concerned by the public statement directed by a US Government official at Judge ad hoc Navi Pillay in connection with the pending proceedings in The Gambia v. Myanmar before the International Court of Justice. Judge ad hoc Navi Pillay’s role is expressly provided for by Article 31 of the ICJ Statute. Each party in The Gambia v. Myanmar has a judge ad hoc. Such judges undertake to act impartially and conscientiously and participate in the decision on terms of complete equality with the other judges. Courts and judges are not beyond criticism. Judicial reasoning should be scrutinized rigorously, and governments are entitled to disagree with legal arguments and judgments. But attributing a political agenda to a sitting judge, saying “we’ll be watching,” and invoking punitive measures taken against another international court goes beyond disagreement with legal reasoning. It risks intimidation and improper pressure on a judge in a pending case. International safeguards are clear: judges must be free to decide according to law, without intimidation or improper pressure. Judicial independence is not a privilege for judges. It is a protection for all. Depending on the structure and jurisdiction of a given court, judicial independence ensures fairness for litigants, for States, for victims, for accused persons, and for the public interest in ensuring that disputes are determined according to law rather than political power. The bedrock safeguard of judicial independence cannot be contingent on whether a judge's decisions satisfy powerful governments.

I might disagree but do respect someone who says, with candor, "If we lose the midterms, it was worth the cost, because Iran was going to have a nuclear weapon." There's integrity to that position. Blaming others for the midterms is worm behavior though. Totally subhuman.

To absolutely no one’s surprise at all, replies to this woke word salad have been turned off. Suffice to say the thought police are very angry.
Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has responded to the unacceptable online abuse directed at a Met officer who received an award at yesterday's annual Police Federation Conference. PC Fiona Shaik Umar was recognised for the outstanding contribution she has made for women in policing.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The vast majority of criticism was not because she is Muslim, but because she was not following very basic gun safety rules. Her finger was on the trigger and she pointed the barrel of the gun at a fellow officer. gunsafetyrules.nra.org hunter-ed.com/muzzleloader/s… x.com/BasilTheGreat/… x.com/WilkieisBack66… x.com/LozzaFox/statu…

The Oversight Project is having a busy day. Our investigative team uncovered Biden corruption coverups in Ukraine. And now lawyer dynamo Marshall Yates is revealing this simple sequence: 1) Behind the scenes, Jack Smith’s team is seeing numerous packets of lawyer-client privileged materials (which is unlawful and a breach of DOJ’s Justice Manual). 2) But Jack Smith asserts to Congress and says he treated legal privilege by the book. Both cannot be true. And we know that it’s the by-the-book claim that’s the lie.
Jack Smith’s abuse of power knew no limits — not the Constitution, not his own office’s rules, and not the truth. Smith sat before the Senate Judiciary Committee under oath and told the American people his office followed the rules. These records detail that Jack Smith’s team consistently failed to follow filter team protocols and may have taken steps to destroy records to avoid FOIA.

Just watched. Pretty weak sauce. Three apparent prostitutes make a bunch of unfalsifiable claims about a dead guy and then urge the audience to vote for Democrats because gas is too expensive or something. Not quite Upton Sinclair!
We’re going to drop a bombshell documentary on @TheYoungTurks tomorrow morning called The Closetocracy. Which US Senator did we catch using male escorts?

If the British want a Great Firewall, they're going to have to build it - and pay for it - themselves. Foreign powers shouldn't be able to conscript Americans into their censorship programs. PASS THE GRANITE ACT.
Foreign censors have no right to threaten Americans with fines or arrest for protected speech hosted on American soil. Yet regulators like Ofcom can’t be held accountable for these gross violations of free expression because they hide behind the veil of sovereign immunity. The GRANITE Act strips away that immunity so Americans can finally haul these foreign censors into U.S. court and teach them what the First Amendment means.

American websites are not magically transported to Britain simply because you can see them in Britain.
If you're a business operating in the UK then your British operations have to abide by British law. If you're a business operating in the USA then your American operations have to abide by American law.
