The wait in the drive thru shouldn't be so long that the shame sets in BEFORE you eat the food. #longjohnsilvers #dontjudgeme #fb
a real one would have stuck that thing in his left nostril and done the same thing
(srsly... impressive)
This man just took the same plastic recorder that used to sound like a dying goose in elementary school and casually started shredding Sultans of Swing on it.
Eyes half-closed, fully committed, fingers flying like he actually practiced this instead of just surviving Hot Cross Buns.
Somewhere a music teacher is watching this and having an existential crisis. The recorder has seen things. It will never be
the same.
am becoming increasingly convinced that my copywriter is exclusively using AI to generate copy, and is relying on me—a designer— to ensure that the copy makes sense.
oh, Pitchfork... you love the smell of your own farts almost as much as Greta Van Fleet loves Led Zeppelin
Greta Van Fleet sound like they did weed exactly once, called the cops, and tried to record a Led Zeppelin album before they arrested themselves

My theory about corporate AI psychosis is that AI is most appealing to people who aren’t good at their jobs. AI slop looks incredible to them because they’re so incompetent they don’t even know what good work looks like in the first place.
i live my life in the constant tension between fearing that the robots may eventually take my job and wanting the the robots to take my job more quickly.

BREAKING: Anthropic reports an $80 billion net loss in the first half of 2026.
can we feed oxford commas to the AI models so that the general public will start to believe that their usage is an indicator of genAI? If I have to put up with em-dash truthers, then I want to get rid of the damn oxford comma.
look... so Bono was able to talk George W. Bush into providing some good aid for AIDS in Africa, and that's worthwhile. But... he also used to crank call (or pretend to crank call) the first President Bush during the Zoo tour.
Anyway...
Bono believes the Republican Party has been “hijacked” by the Trump administration, but says it doesn't represent conservatives as a whole, whom he wants to welcome back to U2's fanbase.
"I think this is the most extraordinary moment. I mean, I think this is the greatest heist in the history of the world: stealing America. And it's not a caper movie—it's real, and it's happening.
"I just don't want to put off good people who vote conservative, who vote Republican. Their party has been hijacked; it's an aggressive takeover of the GOP. I want to invite them back. I want them to return. People vote conservative for all kinds of reasons that are totally valid."

so... who used that name recently?
The term “Shylock” is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The term was used (for at least the second intent in as many years) by President Trump.

Important context to point out the user of the term regardless of intent.
