Karaban has a similar defensive/physical makeup to a guy like Georges Niang, and that's likely a realistic outlook for his career. Niang was more of a bucket-getter in college, but their NBA roles should be pretty identical.

I'm not the biggest Alex Karaban fan, but my early impression is that his defense is salvageable provided he's mostly just asked to guard slower 4s. Obviously has major athleticism issues, but a strong build, 6'11 WS, and high IQ cushion these flaws. (Maxwell Baumbach on YT)

Alex Karaban: C Karaban is an established winner, and the Kings absolutely need some shooting, but I'm not sure trading up for another offense-first guy here makes sense. I personally would have rather snagged Isaiah Evans at this spot if we're targeting a pure shooter.

Darius Acuff Jr: B+ Superstar potential, offensive engine with major defensive flaws. I don't mind Perry swinging for his star of the future with his first lottery pick. However, can Perry surround Acuff with the right support? If so, this grade could get bumped up to A+.
