Hindsight is always 20/20. When Brent Venables hired Ben Arbuckle and landed John Mateer, Sooner Nation was all in. Arbuckle was a rising star coming off a top-10 offense at Washington State. Mateer was the consensus No. 1 player in the portal β€” Miami, UNC (with Belichick/Brady/Gronk in the mix), and others were all over him. Wazzu fought hard to keep him. This was the high-demand package everyone wanted. It didn’t fully translate in the SEC. That’s reality. Venables made the tough call to move on from Arbuckle and keep adjusting. That’s what a head coach is supposed to do. Building in the toughest conference in the sport is hard. In Brent I trust β€” even if it’s not the popular take right now. I really hope he gets it right this time. #OUDNA #Sooners

After DOGE, Elon came to a conclusion most people missed. He tried to reform the state from the inside. He failed. And he said it plainly: the government can't fix its own deficit. Nobody in power actually wants to cut. The machine protects itself. So he drew the only logical conclusion. If the state can't be reformed, there are only two ways this ends. Either global bankruptcy. Debt keeps compounding, interest payments eat the budget, and the system collapses under its own weight. Or robots. AI and robotics grow the economy so fast that the debt becomes manageable, and abundance makes the old fights over scarcity irrelevant. Here's the part almost nobody sees. For two centuries, capitalism has had a marketing problem. Its gains are real but slow and invisible. 2% growth a year doesn't feel like anything. Your life gets better over 30 years and you never connect it to the system that did it. Meanwhile, the left's promises feel immediate and concrete: a check, a subsidy, a benefit. That's why the left wins on promises even when it can't deliver them. Capitalism produces the wealth, socialism takes the credit. Robots break that asymmetry. When productivity doubles in a few years instead of a few decades, people will see it. Things get cheaper, services get better, opportunities appear, in real time. For the first time in history, people will connect capitalism and their rising standard of living directly, almost instantly. The causal chain becomes visible. And that changes everything politically. So there are two scenarios. Scenario one: we stay in the current inertia. No breakthrough, or a breakthrough we regulate to death. The debt wins. Living standards stagnate, then fall. A frustrated electorate turns to whoever promises the most, and that pushes toward a hard collectivist left. But collectivism fails, as it always does. And when it fails, the most organized, most disciplined collectivist force left standing isn't the old left. It's radical Islamism. Bankruptcy, then communism, then something worse. Scenario two: robots win. Abundance arrives, and it arrives visibly. The link between free enterprise and prosperity becomes obvious to everyone. And this is the key point: it becomes obvious to everyone, including the minorities the left was counting on. Because their long-term incentive is the same as everyone else's. A kid in the suburbs gains infinitely more from a booming, abundant West than from a bankrupt state handing out promises it can't keep. Abundance is the most powerful integration machine ever built. That's the Western renaissance. The West doesn't need to win the culture war by arguing. It needs to win it by delivering. And for the first time, it has the technology to deliver fast enough for people to notice. The race isn't left vs right anymore. It's robots vs bankruptcy.

Republicans just got put in a body bag. Simply put, as of now I think it came down to prices along with Republicans not explaining well to our base the institutional importance of holding strong in the Senate. With that being said, many Republicans would not be open to listening as long as prices are high. So both things need to be addressed. Let’s make better decisions and work harder.

The Senate could very well and likely will determine which direction America goes. If you are in Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Maine and a couple more states, and you care about our republic, you should NOT sit this midterm out. We are also playing for 2028 and beyond. Not just current times. Ensure you get out and vote to protect the republic. It’s under attack whether you like it or not. Make a plan, get out and vote!

Tesla Semi Rollout is in just a couple weeks, and I can't wait to see what's going on. If anyone can put in a good word with the team, it would be amazing if a spare ticket for myself and @HinrichsZane could happen. Without his footage, most of us have nothing to go on. He's earned this. As for me, I've been covering Tesla semi monthly for ages, and weekly for almost two years. I know that truck inside out, just as Zaneglar knows the factory. I've never been lucky enough to get an invite to an official Tesla product event, and after 6 years and 3,400+ videos, this would be a good one break that curse. Reposting for visibility would be a great help, and if you know anyone @tesla who can help, that would be even better. @herbertong @TeslaBoomerMama @teslaownersSV

Can the @Tesla community please let @elonmusk know that we could really use some @starlink minis because they have batteries, 90% of the island is without power and the gas pumps won't run without power so generators won't even work pretty soon so the Mini would be much better than the plug-in ! There are 60,000 residents so even if we got half that many people could share ! Mahalo n Aloha

Don't let communists run your state, folks...they'll drive the most ambitious and determined industrialist in the world to go build an empire in friggin' Texas. Our good weather isn't enough to rely on anymore.
Terafab Texas will be the largest and most valuable building on Earth by far. And it will be stunningly beautiful.

Please watch this video that @herbertong published this morning. @nextbigfuture did an excellent job. Just watched it for the second time. youtu.be/rGGvBdRIHg8?si=dB_x…
What if the biggest story for Tesla and @SpaceX isn't Robotaxi anymore? Brian Wang @nextbigfuture argues it could be AI! @Tesla is growing FSD, Cybercab, Optimus, and its energy business, while SpaceX is quickly building an AI compute business with reported deals involving Anthropic, Google, and Reflection AI. If AI revenue grows faster than Robotaxi revenue, it could change how investors value both companies, and even affect how a future Tesla-SpaceX deal might be viewed! The question may no longer be who wins the Robotaxi race. It may be who builds the biggest AI business. πŸ”₯ $TSLA $SPCX
