Another Trump scam built in to help Putin. The US collecting billions from Ukraine for Patriot interceptors but no delivery until 2030.
A strong decision by the U.S. State Department – authorizing Ukraine’s purchase of Patriot interceptors to counter Russian ballistic missiles. Five hundred PAC-3 interceptors is a substantial number, and very soon – this winter – they COULD make for a highly effective defense package. However, it has been stipulated that deliveries may begin ONLY IN A FEW YEARS. We are asking our American partners to find a solution for the time when there is a real danger and a real need to use PAC-3 interceptors.
Right now, the Russians are attacking our energy infrastructure every single day. In just these past two weeks of October, there have already been more than 30 Russian strikes on critical parts of our power grid. It is right now, even before the beginning of winter, that Putin has started carrying out his operation to attack the systems that sustain life in our cities and communities. The targets are electricity, heating, water supplies, bridges, and life in our cities in general.
We did ask our American partners to provide Ukraine with a winter support package – at a rate of 100 Patriot interceptors per month. Five hundred missiles would be enough to protect our skies over the coming months – precisely when it is so important for Ukraine to be in a strong position in negotiations and for Russia NOT to succeed in breaking life in Ukrainian cities and communities.
The United States, our European partners, and other partners around the world have sufficient stocks of PAC-3 interceptors in their warehouses. Providing them to Ukraine right now – in the winter of 2026–2027 – and replenishing our partners’ arsenals LATER, in THE FOLLOWING YEARS, through this production already contracted and paid for by Ukraine and our partners would be the right approach. And it is entirely feasible.
We are grateful to President Trump. Importantly, we recently discussed PAC-3 interceptors with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Ukraine is grateful to the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Administration overall for granting this authorization. But we are asking for decisions that can guarantee the protection of lives not the day after tomorrow or sometime later, but at the very moment the threat is there – when Russia is killing and destroying. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine!

BREAKING: Antisemtiism is now when you don't want to see the Ali G movie 👀
Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G sequel lasted one weekend in theaters, and the Hollywood Reporter is blaming pro-Palestine activists, and discussing "Hamas-affiliated operatives.”
THR detailed a campaign by UK-based NewsCord, whose platform gave users AI-assisted templates to email cinemas; NewsCord says about 55,000 emails went out. THR then pointed to the group's support for Gaza aid flotilla participants, whose leaders the US Treasury designated "Hamas-affiliated operatives." NewsCord, which calls Ali G a form of blackface, accused THR of drawing "conspiratorial links."
Amazon MGM opened the film on just 23 screens, withheld box office figures, and moved it to Prime Video five days later, per World of Reel.

This guy was walking around the Palestine rally at Sydney Town Hall last night filming protestors. He was not there as a supporter. When I noticed him I got my phone out and started filming him back. I walked over to him, still recording, and he left. Always beware of Zionists in the crowd and protect our community.

Malcolm Turnbull is right. Australia should be opening markets and building partnerships. Yet the Coalition wants to torpedo an EU trade deal it started negotiating. Another case of culture wars trumping Australia's economic interests. smh.com.au/politics/federal/… #auspol

The only thing we forgot, Graham- nay, IGNORED- is that we're dealing with a financial furball.
YOU, @GrahamY.
And THIS is why you keep getting taken apart.
Graham, you're clutching at straws so hard you've practically built yourself a fucking haystack.
You've isolated ONE revenue variable and decided it explains the ENTIRE fiscal position.
That's not economic analysis, Graham. That's cherry-picking dressed up as expertise.
Revenue, expenditure, interest costs, economic growth, deficits and debt ALL contribute to the fiscal outcome.
You cannot pluck one convenient figure out of the accounts, wave it around like a winning lottery ticket and declare the entire budget has deteriorated.
ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ACTUAL NUMBERS SAY OTHERWISE.
Let's revisit the evidence you've so spectacularly avoided.
FRYDENBERG'S FINAL 2022 FORECAST:
Gross debt by 2025–26: $1.169 TRILLION.
ACTUAL 2025–26 OUTCOME:
Gross debt: $197.6 BILLION BELOW THAT FORECAST.
And the deficit?
Frydenberg projected $42.9 BILLION for 2025–26.
The actual outcome? $22.3 BILLION.
That's $20.6 BILLION LESS than Frydenberg forecast.
⛐ ▓ 𖧀 OOPS.
Now, about these supposed revenue windfalls you find so fascinating.
Did you conveniently forget the billions in RBA dividends received under Morrison and Frydenberg?
Or do windfalls only count when Labor receives them?
And while we're discussing what gets left out of your selective financial arithmetic, remember the Morrison Government's public-service staffing cap?
The 2023 Audit of Employment identified a shadow workforce of approximately 53,900 full-time-equivalent external workers, costing $20.8 BILLION in 2021–22 alone.
Public-service work outsourced to contractors and consultants while the official public-service headcount was artificially constrained.
But apparently, Graham, THAT doesn't deserve a place in your comprehensive fiscal assessment either.
Funny how your accounting expertise develops enormous blind spots whenever the Coalition enters the conversation.
NOW, GRAHAM. WE'RE DONE.
We've presented the official figures. We've explained the comparisons. We've dismantled your selective arithmetic.
And STILL you come crawling back, clutching another isolated number as though you've discovered the fiscal equivalent of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
It's become tedious.
We've attempted to educate you. Repeatedly.
But your commitment to misunderstanding basic fiscal accounting appears to be the only thing in this conversation that is truly beyond budget.
We deal in figures, figures backed by records, Graham.
You deal in furballs.
And every time you cough up another one, you seem surprised when we identify precisely what it is.
ENOUGH.
Be gone.
Comb your hair.
Wear some cologne.
The boiled-cabbage scent isn't trending.
GO. 🥬

You forgot to put in the extra $190 billion in company taxes that Chalmers has had over and above what was projected by Frydenberg. So the position has deteriorated. Windfalls wasted and thrown away.
