Fat Burning is NOT the same thing as losing body fat
You've been led to believe they are the same by influencers in order to sell you:
-Low Carb Diets
-Fat Burners
-Fasted Cardio
And a variety of other things
Fat burning is PART of losing body fat, but it doesn't tell the full story
I'm not saying low carb diets are bad or a waste. They can absolutely work and be a useful method...
But they can work by reducing calorie intake. Not magic fat burning
Fasted cardio can be useful especially for people who only have time to exercise in the morning and don't like training after eating... but it ain't magic
In the end the things that work are being consistent, training hard, and choosing a dietary strategy that allows you to be compliant consistently
So the next time an influencer tries to sell you on the superiority of a diet, training program, or supplement, because of 'fat burning'...
Ask them to produce evidence that it actually causes more loss of actually BODY FAT than a comparable diet or training program
Influencers want you to believe in magic so they can overcharge you for these things
I want to educate you so that you don't get fleeced, even though it costs me money. I could make WAY more convincing you I had magic. But I won't do that
There is no way around the work. Most people spend more time, energy, and money trying to 'biohack' their way around the work
The ironic thing is... they spend more time, energy, and money trying to find a short cut than it would take if they just did the f***ing work
The magic you are looking for is in the WORK you keep attempting to avoid
It's also what lines the pockets of the grifters who are all too ready to sell you a magic solution that avoids the work
Don't buy into that bullshit. Do the work
You mean I want objective empircal evidence when I make decisions and claims?
Yea that's fucking wild huh?
Replying to @BioLayne @cdtmethod
What's weak is thinking the person is more important than the claim.
You obsess over the person because you can't actually debate information... You got no knowledge. You've never figured out anything on your own.
You need papers and other people to tell you what's what. Weak
You continue to highlight you complete lack of understanding of basic scientific principles.
The existence of god is not a falsifiable hypothesis. Therefore, it does not fall into the same standards. It is called 'belief' because it requires believing in the absence of evidence. That is what faith is all about.
Good scientists should not have 'beliefs' when it comes to research. They have hypothesis that are supported by data or they do not.
I say this as a scientist who believes in god. I believe in spite of a lack of empirical proof. I do not need 'beliefs' for topics to which data exists.
I hope this helps you but I doubt it

Which nutrients? Compared to what?
I am a fan of high quality animal protein but buzzwords like “nutrient dense” get spewed all the time and no one actually gives objective data
Because you only care about buzzwords
Yea so that’s cool other than the fact that they are… you know FUCKING BEARS and all
I’m ready for the aliens. I don’t want to live on this planet anymore 🤣😭
Hibernating brown bears have roughly double the cholesterol and triglycerides of healthy humans—yet show no atherosclerosis or heart disease.
During winter hibernation, free-ranging brown bears (Ursus arctos) experience plasma cholesterol levels around 12 mmol/L (versus ~5 mmol/L in humans) and elevated triglycerides, along with obesity, physical inactivity for months, and other metabolic stressors that would typically promote vascular disease in humans.
Histopathology of coronary arteries and aortic arches from adult bears has repeatedly shown no fatty streaks, foam cell infiltration, inflammation, or atherosclerotic lesions—even in animals that have lived through multiple hibernation cycles.
Key protective mechanisms identified in research include:
• LDL particles that are larger and have 5–10× lower affinity for arterial proteoglycans (the binding that helps drive plaque formation in humans)
• Higher plasma cholesterol efflux capacity
• Stabilized or more cardioprotective HDL composition (including increased HDL2b)
• Greater antioxidant capacity and reduced inflammatory/oxidative markers during hibernation
These findings come from multiple studies on Scandinavian brown bears, including work in Scientific Reports, the Journal of Lipid Research, and related papers.
The takeaway is straightforward: high circulating cholesterol and triglycerides do not automatically produce atherosclerosis. Context—lipoprotein structure, function, inflammatory status, and overall metabolic handling—matters. Bears offer a natural model of high lipids without the expected vascular damage.
Yes of course I want attention. I’m just not willing to lie or do performative bullshit to get it. Trust me, I could get a lot more views if I had no morals
Replying to @BioLayne
Sure but objectively every time you post on here its for attention. You have become an influencer so you are no different. Ever heard of the pot and the kettle?
I could also cover myself in shit, then put feathers on top of it, go and dance in the street while honking a horn and get attention too
Attention for attention sake is trash
Pretty sure he’s in his 40s
MANY OF THEM
