LightPost is now OPEN-SOURCE! 🚀
github.com/brainstormity/Lig…
A self-hosted, lightweight social media posting tool with automated scheduling.
Light enough to run on my $10 Raspberry Pi Zero at home, costing me less than $1/month.
Tested Platforms:
- X/Twitter
- Instagram
- Facebook Pages
- Discord
- Telegram
- Mastodon
- Bluesky
Also added:
- Threads & LinkedIn (not yet tested)
- Pinterest, TikTok & Google Business (under development)
I've also added step-by-step guides with screenshots for all tested platforms under the "Setup Guides" page in the dashboard. Follow the guide and you'll have access to Meta apps in under 5 minutes (no waiting for "approval" required).
Go fork it, try it, build on it, sell it... just have fun with it! 🤛
Paying $99/month was getting a little too expensive...
So I built my own open source alternative that now costs me LESS THAN $1/month to run.
YES, 99x CHEAPER! 🤯
Introducing Open Post, an open source alternative to Post Bridge that lets you post to all your social media accounts from one dashboard.
I'll be open sourcing it on GitHub this coming week once I finish testing each social media integration.
And just to be clear...
This isn't about taking business away from an existing SaaS. I simply wanted to build something cheaper for myself that does the exact same thing.
If you want a ready-to-use solution and don't mind paying $40-$100/month, definitely check out the original SaaS!
But if you prefer self-hosting and saving money, Open Post is coming soon for free. 🚀

Qual vocês já testaram e qual realmente vale a pena o uso no dia a dia?
É amigos, sextou e a @Hostinger me ferrou 🤬
