Yesterday at my home Diwali dinner, a Kannada neighbour was angry that #Ramayana was being messed up by showing #Qawali & #Jatayu in Ayodhya. Said #RanbirKapoor who did #Animal wasn't apt. Everyone was comparing Sai Pallavi with Deepika Chikhalia & said casting wasn't apt.

Heading to Bastar to celebrate Diwali with our brave security forces.
This is an area where Naxalism once held sway and now, development is flourishing.
I am going to salute our brave security personnel for their sacrifices, selfless service and unwavering devotion to the nation.
Apart from the generosity, what struck me was the thoughtfulness of the business owner couple handing out the #DiwaliBonus.
Logistically, far easier to give 500/- notes.Instead they gave out bundles of mixed denominations,so that it's easier for their employees to spend 💕

No. Neither Dhurandhar (₹840 Cr India net / ₹1,307 Cr WW) nor Dhurandhar 2 (₹1,149 Cr net / ₹1,813 Cr WW) has been matched by any Khan film or any other Hindi lead in 75 years of Bollywood.
SRK’s peak is Jawan (~₹640 Cr net). Aamir’s is Dangal (~₹387 Cr net, though higher WW via China). Salman’s top is under ₹340 Cr net. No other actor or actress has come close on India net.

Shurpanakha tries to kill Sita Devi.
Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi as Sita: “It wasn’t that big of a mistake. We could’ve simply explained it to her or scared her off!
We keep talking about wanting a better generation, but are we actually raising one?
Children need guidance, discipline, love, and strong role models, not just material things.
We can't expect society to improve if we refuse to hold ourselves accountable.
The change starts at home.

Ramayan is a commercial movie
Every body is welcome to go or not go , to like , to dislike , to walk out, to write about their views .
What I am against is the paid reviews and hounding of those not liking the movie - forcibly adding culture and Hindu interests to a commercial project .
Those not supporting the film are being called narrow minded , living in nostalgia , behaving like Abrahamic faiths and so on . Many of these handles were in fore front a short while ago , calling the film anti Hindu , questioning Sufi elements , casting etc.
When these ppl turn vociferous supporters and call out others not liking the movie- then of course they will be called paid !
I recall adipurush movie- it got rare reviews , my son and DIL booked tickets, went with full devotion , walked out half way because the movie was insufferable.
Ramayan is a commercial film- its success or failure does not define my Hindu faith or my devotion to Sri Ram . So let us ignore the paid so called ‘RW’. They are entitled to do what they want via their reach , but will never ever engage with the turncoats

At a talk last weekend, when discussing creative liberties with our Puranas and Itihasas,
An old lady summed it up succinctly: Any creative liberties must add to the epic and not detract.
An example I gave was that of Kamba Ramayanam, in which, Ravana never touches Sita Ji while taking her away. Instead, he takes Sita away along with the land on which she is standing.
He was catering to local sensitivities of that era and to me, that is fine. Like the old lady said, it added, and didn't take away from the original characterisation of the epic.
"You did not complain about Tulasidas adding Laxman rekha to the story."
A minor correction:
Lakshmana’s drawing of the line does not appear in the Araṇya Kāṇḍa of the Rāmcharitmānas. It is referred to indirectly in the Laṅkā Kāṇḍa, when Mandodarī tries to persuade Rāvaṇa not to oppose Śrī Rāma, saying:
Meaning: “My lord, think it over and give up this foolish idea. It does not befit you to wage war against Śrī Raghunāth. His younger brother drew a mere little line, and you couldn’t even cross that.—such is your valor!”

One last tweet about #RamayanaMovie
Namit Malhotra & the makers have successfully fooled Hindus at large & bought out 'influencers'. Their sole intention is to sell their products to the overseas market where this is just another superhero movie. Nothing Hindu about it. EOD!

A drone dropped a shipment of weapons near the India-Pakistan border. But when police reached the spot, there was almost nothing to investigate.
No footprints. No eyewitnesses. No CCTV footage.
Just five made-in-China pistols and 325 cartridges scattered across a farmer’s field in Rajasthan’s Khajuwala.
Someone had planned this operation carefully. But who was behind it?
IPS officer Anushtha Kalia took charge. With almost no conventional evidence, she began connecting the dots.
The drone weighed around 10 to 15 kg and could travel only 12 to 15 km. Its GPS information helped investigators establish that the drop location had been decided in advance.
The packaging of the packets also resembled that used in earlier weapon and drug drops from Pakistan.
But the biggest breakthrough came through intelligence inputs.
The mastermind was not hiding across the border. He was already behind bars.
Sukhwinder Singh alias Sonu, lodged in Faridkot jail, was allegedly running the smuggling network using a mobile phone. He stayed in touch with Pakistani handlers and directed local associates to collect the weapons.
Police brought him from jail for questioning. His interrogation helped identify others in the network. By July 2026, four people had been arrested.
Anushtha is a 2022-batch IPS officer who secured AIR 143 in UPSC CSE 2021 on her first attempt. A BTech graduate in Information Technology, she had worked as a data scientist before joining the civil services.
After marrying IPS officer Vishal Jangid, she moved from the AGMUT cadre to Rajasthan in September 2025.
Her investigation has now earned her selection for the Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak 2026, along with six other Rajasthan police officers.
A case with almost no clues, a network exposed and an investigation now recognised with a national-level medal.
