As a brown man living in America in 2019, I am free in this country because of the sacrifices and struggle of African Americans to realize their their freedoms and inalienable rights. This is a #fact. nytimes.com/interactive/2019…

The incentives in government are completely misaligned.
Singapore pays multimillion dollar salaries to work in government.
The result is one of the best-run, highest per capita income countries on earth.
We don’t do that, but we do allow insider trading and $4 million book deals for people who sell one copy.
Warren Buffett said it best: pay every member of Congress $20 million but you 535 people have to balance the budget.
See how quickly sh*t gets done.
We’ve turned government into a career and that’s a problem.

I really think everyone needs to pay attention to this cordinated campaign to delegimatize Muslim Americans - not just as citizens but as humans.
These increasingly hysterical attacks are a prelude to Republicans bringing us to a very, very dark place after the election.

if it’s only rigged when the people you like don’t win…democracy might not be for you.
I was on a podcast last week - when we launched Jaali. An excellent conversation with Kai Campbell, CEO of Jaali.ai and the excellent hosts at @Edtech_Insiders during #EdTechWeek; from minute 37 onwards.

Trump's DOJ goes after blacks & Muslims. ICE goes after Latinos. Trump's allies at Meta try to undercut No Kings. The forces of authoritarianism are using racism, nativism, & intimidation to try to affect the election. The people seem unimpressed. But will timid elites speak up?

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

The corruption is just staggering. Dozens of dozens of pardons being given out to wealthy criminals paying millions for them. The US government is for sale to the highest bidders & DOJ operates as Trump’s consigliere. Have you had enough of this yet America? I know the world has.

President Trump: “Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine.” Please speak out, Republicans. We cannot normalize this. washingtonpost.com/world/202…
I continue to be inspired by hearing @michaelcrow discuss ASU’s grand vision to serve all, to meet learners where they are. Also to hear him speak of @ASU’s journey, over decades, to reimagine the institution’s purpose and to be truly student centered. Lots of wisdom.

The world’s first trillionaire is using his taxpayer-subsidized company to intercede into a foreign war against the U.S.’s expressed ally.
Any accountability agenda that doesn’t start with Musk behind bars falls short imo
BREAKING WSJ:
Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of the military-grade version of Starlink that Ukraine relied on.

As you watch Elon Musk burn through 300 million dollars plus in these midterms, like it’s nothing (it is nothing to him!), on candidates who are crooks like Ken Paxton, remember the case for a wealth tax.

If this is accurate, Elon lied about not having control over Starshield, and he lied about the administration making the decision.
More importantly, why is a private citizen even *able* to make decisions that could hinder US military operations?
Incredible scoop by my @WSJ colleagues: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink relied on by Ukraine, a decision that sparked panic in Kyiv and confusion inside the Trump administration. wsj.com/world/ukraine-starli…

This is one of the finest, most powerful television ads I've every seen. Do American a favor and share this everywhere.
Heart, not policy papers.
Love, not hate.
Hope, not fear.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
