PMRDA Pune Metro Line 3 is scheduled to be inaugurated virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 3, 2026, with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attending the ceremony in person.
Mahametro will also conduct the Bhoomi Poojan for Phase 2 of the Pune Metro, covering Line 2A (Vanaz to Chandani Chowk), Line 2B (Ramwadi to Wagholi), Line 4 (Khadakwasla to Kharadi), and Line 4A (Nal Stop to Warje and Manikbaug).

MBMC has applied for the Widening of Maharashtra SH 42 (Gaimukh Ghat) upto 60m From Gaimukh to Fountain Hotel along with construction of Metroline 10 from Gaimukh, Bhaindarpada village to Kashimira Naka.
The Line 10 is running elevated on the proposed widening of the road, Underground section was earlier planned, which is now cancelled to minimize the tree cutting. The Alignment of Metroline will now be parallel to Gaimukh Ghat.
