Bongani

The fun is growing at Bitcoin Ekasi! After the success of our first Picade, we’re building a second arcade game for the community. @bonganithebe518 built the first Picade with the help of Jason & @EricSirion, and now he’s taking on the challenge of building Picade #2! Big thank you to Jason & @EricSirion for helping make the first one possible. More games, more fun, and more ways to put sats into people’s hands. #BitcoinEkasi #Bitcoin #Picade

We’ve reached the limit of onboarding through explanation alone. The people who respond to theory - monetary policy, sovereignty, inflation - they're already here. That wave is done. The next wave will not be onboarded through words. They'll be onboarded through demonstration. A simple purchase. Milk at a corner store. Everyday transactions. That’s what makes Bitcoin real. And when Bitcoin does something fiat can’t - that’s when it clicks. Education still matters, it is crucially important - but it follows demonstration, not the other way around. And this is why circular economies matter. They are live proof: Earn in sats. Spend in sats. Repeat. Nothing demystifies Bitcoin faster than using it. And that’s exactly what we’re doing. We’re building simple, real-world demonstrations: 👉Daily #SPEDN videos - real transactions, not staged. 👉Kids earning sats through rewards programs. 👉A thrift store priced entirely in sats. 👉An old-school arcade machine - scan, tap, pay with sats, play. No theory. No abstraction. Just Bitcoin, working. Stop explaining Bitcoin. Start showing it.

Last week, our community leader @LuthandoSABTC represented our project at the Wedge Classic 2025 in Plettenberg Bay. Beyond supporting Bitcoin adoption at the event, he took the initiative to visit a nearby township, where he onboarded local shops to accept #Bitcoin payments, helping grow a stronger circular economy in the community.

Boom! Another local business now accepts #Bitcoin, thanks to @LuthandoSABTC our Project Community Leader. Let’s keep spreading the sats and growing Bitcoin adoption, one shop at a time!✊

It's 8pm on a Friday evening and 17-year old @bonganithebe518 is still at the Ekasi Center, figuring out how to make this Bitcoin powered arcade machine work. The world needs kids like Bongani.

Orange pilling mission in our @labitcoineta to the Young Bafana Cup of Hope 2025, with @LuthandoSABTC and @bonganithebe518 !! 🍊💊🧡✊🌍🇿🇦
