He wanted to re-establish Swarajya and Peshwai. His followers, numbering 300 were Mahars, Chambhars, Ramoshis, Kunbis and Matangs/Mang. His guru as mentioned here was a Mang himself. All these low-caste groups wanted to fight for Peshwai again. Food for thought.
Remembering Vasudeo Balwant Phadke (4 November 1845 – 17 February 1883), the Father of Indian Armed Rebellion, on his Birth Anniversary.
Deeply moved by the suffering of his countrymen and the economic exploitation under British rule, Vasudeo Balwant Phadke took up the cause of India's freedom, leading an armed resistance against colonial authority in 1879.
From organising resistance in the Deccan to enduring imprisonment in Aden, his life was marked by an unwavering resolve to see his motherland free.

In my humblest opinion, this can be transformed with time. We can use cinder blocks, shiny blocks etc to make killa. I used to make these as kid & still plan to do in current year but we got away from mud killa building since 2003s now. Khup undor vhayche tyat unfortunately.

North Indian migration is detrimental, not beneficial.
For eg, a Gujarati comes to Mumbai & opens a bhujia store, he then brings in workers from UP/Bihar as employees. No benefit to Maha. Customers will also be Hindians.
Instead a whole series of problems arise.

In Pune we do not have Phupas … we have Kaka and Kaki’s …
By the way who are you to comment on Pune Metro?
Pune IT Phupas are mad that the newly built Pink Metro is taking 37 rupees for 4-8 km for one trip. Yeah, 37 rupees. So the average IT worker works 5 days a week, 20 days a month, so that's 40 trips per month. 40 × ₹37 = ₹1,480 per month.
Time saved: probably multiple hours per week. Cabs? Rickshaws? Time, Cost, and traffic are nothing less than double of it.
Matlab sirf rona hi hai. Metro nahi shuru hui toh rona hai, metro shuru hui toh rona hai. Kitna roege?
