@KemiBadenoch who was in the tory government that tripled tuition fees, scrapped education maintenance grants that helped poorer students, removed bursaries from nursing students and increased interest payments on student loans. Now says what about graduate debt??

Increasing the Bank Levy will make mortgages more expensive and the cost of living worse. Bankers are an easy target but it is also risky: banks in London already face a total tax rate of 46%, compared with 39% in Frankfurt and just 28% New York. Less profitable financial services = lower long term tax revenue

Mason giving a balanced view on the chancellor and what he has to do.I remember when he targeted,criticised Rachel Reeves or Keir Starmer with him and others,I would go as far as to say bordering on bullying but now all sweet.There should be an investigation in the media.
