John Thune needs to STEP DOWN. He is directly responsible for his conference’s failure to pass common sense policies like voter ID that just passed via ballot initiatives even in deep blue states. SO THERE IS NO EXCUSE.
Did John Thune’s Senate get the job done? Look at the numbers. The 118th Congress, under Chuck Schumer’s Senate leadership, sent 178 House-originated bills to President Biden’s desk. Under John Thune, the 119th Congress has sent just 69 House-originated bills to Trump’s desk.
That’s 109 fewer — a 61% decline.
The Senate also saw 91 Senate-originated bills become law under Schumer, compared with just 47 so far under Thune.
Republicans control the House, Senate and White House until January. The current Congress isn’t finished, but the numbers raise a legitimate question: Why is so much House legislation failing to make it through the Senate to the President’s desk? Same for bills originated in the Senate.

Christianity started as a Jewish movement that followed Jesus as the promised Messiah.
Jesus was Jewish & did not become Christian—his first followers were Jewish & used the Jewish Bible. The Bible itself shows this, such as when a woman calls Jesus a Jew (John 4:9) & when Paul says the good news came first to the Jew (Romans 1:16).
After Jesus died & rose, his local followers were called Christians. They believe he brought forgiveness & they read both the Old & New Testaments.
Later the faith spread to other Countries & some customs changed slightly but Christian teachings about Jesus & God’s plan still rest on these Jewish roots.
The word Christian comes from the Greek word Christianos, which means “follower of Christ” or “one who belongs to Christ.”
“Christ” itself is the Greek form of the Hebrew word Messiah, meaning “Anointed One.”
According to the Bible, the name was first used in the city of Antioch: “The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch” (Acts 11:26).
It was the name given to local non-Jews initially as a way to label the followers of Jesus. Over time, more believers worldwide accepted the name & there are estimated to be about 2.65 billion Christians in the world (2025 statistics): the largest religion on earth at 32% of the global population.

Pete Hegseth's articles of impeachments are that he is following unlawful orders issued by President Trump himself.
Senator Mark Kelly, the ringleader of the Seditious Six, says this explicitly.
According to Kelly, six of the eight articles of impeachment against Hegseth concern his alleged compliance with illegal orders from President Trump.
Read that again.
Six of eight articles are premised on that President Trump himself issued illegal orders.
Ask yourself this question:
If Hegseth needs impeachment for following Trump's alleged unlawful orders...

What does that imply about President Trump himself?
Exactly.
The goal of removing Hegseth has always been to remove Trump from office.
Hegseth is the opening move.
His entire downstream chain of command will be next.
This will be a single-handed turnover of the entire military structure, remade in the image of those who have been plotting against Trump all along.
Then the ultimate target: President Trump himself.

The blue slip process is an affront to the people. The Appointments Clause gives the Senate—as a body—the power of advice and consent through open debate and a recorded vote. It does not authorize an individual senator to exercise a silent, unwritten veto that stops the full Senate from ever considering a nomination. The unwritten agreement converts “advice and consent” into a de facto one-senator veto the Framers did not design.
It has never been used before by Sens from the out-of-power party to simply lock up every nomination in their state.
The practice has resulted in 14 confirmed judges in the NDCA -- every one by a Dem. President. The last GOP nominee confirmed to the NDCA was in 2002.
Sheldon Whitehouse will do away with it the very first minute he needs to in order to confirm progressive nominees in Texas and Florida if there is a Dem. POTUS.
Grassley has let it be used to block U.S. Attorneys in a dozen or more districts, leading to this never-ending litigation over interim and acting appointments.

ALL 21 STATES. ALL 1,799 COUNTIES. EVERY SINGLE ONE SHIFTED BLUE.
You can blame the Iran war. You can blame the economy. But you expect me to believe Republicans were THAT angry that every single state and county shifted blue?
And before anyone says it, this isn’t about being unable to accept a loss. I can accept losing. What I can’t do is ignore something that just doesn’t pass the smell test.
Sorry, but I have questions. 2020 makes me look at things way differently.
