ALISHA SAMUELS MURDER-CHARGED MAN ATTACKED & ROBBED IN PRISON
Footage reportedly shows Lawrence Johnson being attacked and robbed inside HMP Walton, just days after being remanded in custody.
Johnson has been charged with the murder of Alisha Samuels, 26, following an incident in Newton Heath, Manchester, on 15 October. He also faces a charge of attempted murder.
According to information accompanying the footage, Johnson was attacked on the prison’s induction wing shortly after arriving on Thursday, before entering the normal residential wings.
Two other men, Carl Hardy and Tony Evans, have also been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the incident.
The footage raises questions about prisoner safety and what can happen to high-profile defendants immediately upon entering custody.
⚖️ Johnson has been charged but has not been convicted. The allegations remain before the courts.
