I like the simplicity of it (like product hunt when it started) I can look at everything quickly and be engaged, product hunt is too big and no longer look. Keeping it as "dev tools" means there is mainly a dev community for feedback, reviewed/used by the same group.

I usually use the email address and Guid combo, the Key is unique and there is less change of someone sharing their email address, if they were thinking of sharing the key.
