how to use Google's NEW open source Design.md + AI Skills to make your startup look like a $100 million company in 1 hour: 1. Design.md is an open source file from Google that captures the soul of a design. Typography, colors, spacing, all in one markdown file. You attach it to your prompt and your agent builds beautiful things every time. 2. Think of it this way. The HTML is the finished dish. The design.md is the recipe. The skills are the ingredients. Put them together and everything you build looks consistent and professional. 3. Don't create a design system from scratch. Find a brand you love. Linear, Stripe, Vercel, whatever resonates. Study it. Use ChatGPT or Claude to help you extract the design language into your own design.md file. 4. Build skills on top of your design.md. A landing page skill. A mobile app skill. A motion design skill. A slide deck skill. Each one references the same design.md so everything looks like it came from the same designer. 5. The biggest mistake people make: they nail one screen and then everything else looks generic. Design.md solves this. One file keeps every page, every format, every medium consistent. 6. Use it across everything. Your landing page. Your app. Your pitch deck. Your promo videos. Same DNA. Same taste. Same system. That's what separates a startup that looks real from one that looks vibe-coded. 7. Build a second brain for design inspiration. When you see something beautiful in the real world or online, capture it. Save it. When you're building something new, reference it. Taste is developed, not downloaded. 8. It's obvious but the difference between a product people trust and a product people bounce from is how it looks and feels. Design.md gives you that edge. you can watch below youtu.be/oLu32YpiIJw?si=1YoY… shoutout to @mengto for coming on @startupideaspod and walking through his full workflow. if you want to use AI to actually build gorgeous designs, you'll want to use see this. watch

My company hit $2,000,000 ARR in 7 months. There’s 1 main acquisition channel we used: LinkedIn. And it’s still significantly underused. Here’s the exact content system we used to grow to $2M in 7 months: 1. Content Strategy • Interview your team to brainstorm ideas • Study what's performing in the niche • Analyze post-performance weekly • Use AI for research + concepts 2. Winning Formats The best creators double down on formats. These are our winning formats: TOF → Personal stories, milestones, industry stories MOF → Resource giveaways, infographics, carousels BOF → Feature demos, case studies, product launches 3. Content Team It’s easier to scale content when you have a team. Here's how we structure our team: • Writer • Designer • QA/Editor 4. Content Pipeline We run everything through Notion: • Comments for feedback • Link back to idea sources • Kanban stages for production 5. Content Calendar You won't stay consistent without planning. So: • Stick to the same posting time • Use ordinal to schedule posts • Block off Sundays to plan the week • Build a backlog of posts to choose from — And after lots of trial and error... We packaged this entire content system into a notion workflow. It helps us: 1. Get ideas down quickly 2. Develop them systematically 3. Collaborate with the design team AND includes our framework on how to plan a LinkedIn content strategy: • Content Types • Content Pillars • Content Formats • Content Calendar (plus a post creation template with our own custom embedded LinkedIn previewer) Today, I’m giving the entire thing away for FREE. Want it? Comment "NOTION" And I'll send over our template. (must be following)

building a startup sounds like it frees you from a 9-5 grind but it becomes a 24/7 grind instead

I started my X account 33 weeks ago. Super easy algorithm to crack. Since then I've collected $40,000+ in direct revenue and recorded 6.8M+ impressions. This month alone X has driven $7,000+ to SEO Stuff. Here’s everything working right now on X, including cheat codes most people aren’t talking about yet. Take advantage before the loopholes close. Oh, and if you want a full cheat sheet, including the details on engagement groups, DM workflows, and posting strategies, follow me, repost this, and comment “X growth guide 2025" and I'll DM you. You must do all 3 to get the DM. Alright, let's get into it. Timing matters more than most people think. 7–9 AM: Commute scroll. Great for hot takes and quick insights 1–3 PM: Post-lunch lull. Ideal for case studies, dashboard screenshots, or short threads 6–8 PM: Wind-down zone. People are in binge mode, post walkthroughs or soft offers Weekends are insanely underrated. Less noise = higher post lifespan My weekend posts do several multiples more than my weekday posts. Also, consistency beats virality. Most accounts don’t grow because they only post a few times per week. You should be posting at least twice per day. But honestly, three times. Post 1 (Morning): Text-only hot take, counterintuitive idea, or short story Post 2 (Afternoon): Proof or breakdown post (traffic, revenue, SEO result, etc) Post 3 (Evening): 3–5 tweet thread explaining a repeatable process or strategy Hit those consistently and the algorithm will reward you. So what should you be posting? Proof posts: “Here’s how I added $20K in 60 days from SEO alone” Frameworks: “The 4-step system I use to write high-converting landing pages” Comparisons: “Threads are dying. Here’s what’s replacing them” Before/after visuals: Great for dashboard wins, visual redesigns, or revenue growth Direct CTAs: “DM me for the full breakdown” or “Comment ‘SEO Guide’ if you want it” Structure matters a lot. Whitespace, clear logic, and momentum from tweet to tweet keep people reading. Content types power ranked: Proof Posts – Traffic growth, revenue dashboards, client wins Mini Threads – "I did X, here's how" Swipe Files – Landing pages, sales scripts, emails that worked Before/After Visuals – Perfect for SEO, copywriting, design Frameworks – Positioning strategy, onboarding process, SEO playbooks Short Stories – Founder lessons, early mistakes, wins with a takeaway Let's also talk engagement. Comment early: Within 15–30 minutes of relevant big accounts posting Comment often: 30+ real comments daily builds visibility and credibility DM for collaborations. Think replies → comments → shared audience Repost content with perspective: X boosts reposts that add commentary Engagement groups still work, if you do it right: 5–10 creators in similar niches Everyone likes/comments within 30 minutes Rotate who goes first. Avoid patterns Don’t force shares unless the content warrants it Repost with actual value. Don’t just drop fire emojis This “velocity bump” still sends strong signals to the algorithm. Post Volume Targets 10 posts = 1 decent performer 30 posts = 3–5 solid hits 50+ posts = viral surface area and consistent growth More shots = more data. More data = better understanding of what works for your audience. The algorithm changes, but these 3 things still drive growth: Posting consistently Showing up for others Giving away value that solves real problems Follow that system for 30 days. Check your profile on Day 31. And if you want a full cheat sheet, including the details on engagement groups, DM workflows, and posting strategies, follow me, repost this, and comment “X growth guide 2025" and I'll DM you. You must do all 3 to get the DM.
