Generation 5 AZ rancher fighting solar energy conglomerates who want our land. I just want to keep ranching and stewarding the land for beef and wildlife.

When the solar conglomerates made their first move to throw my cattle off the range a few years back, @SineKerr was the first one I talked to. At the time she was in the state senate. She helped hold them off for a long time. Now she has come back to my defense a second time as the solar scammers have renewed their efforts. I was extremely happy to see Sine become the candidate for LT Governor.
As a farmer and small business owner, I know what it means to work hard. The ranchers & farmers in our state are trying to survive, but Katie Hobbs is making it nearly impossible by supporting foreign interests first. @andybiggs4az and I will always put Arizonans first!

Overgaard is an area that overwhelmingly consists of Republicans. We need a Governor who will do the right thing regardless of party or who is affected. Katie Hobbs doesn’t care about Arizona and she doesn’t care about you. Vote Biggs/Kerr Hobbs should immediately declare a state of emergency for the affected area but she’s too busy trying to round up votes in Pima county for her campaign. She’s a disgrace and a travesty to Arizona.
#BREAKING: Governor Katie Hobbs has declined to declare a state of emergency for the EF1 tornado in Overgaard. However, we did notice DOC crews and members of State Forestry working on the affected areas. Hobbs said she sent help, and that is true. But the area will receive no more assistance for the recovery efforts. @GovernorHobbs @BlackmanForAZ

You think voting is fake? Humor me and vote anyways, it will take 10 minutes out of your day. You spend more time each day watching AI videos on the toilet.

California 2.0 isn't just a campaign slogan. The proposals are already on the table in Arizona. An 8% top income tax rate. New renewable energy mandates. Restrictions on immigration enforcement. A proposal to phase out Arizona's ESA program. These proposals would reshape Arizona's tax system, energy policy, border enforcement, and educational choices along lines already familiar in California. The stakes go far beyond campaign slogans. The bills show what's being proposed, and November's election will help determine what happens next. Read the full breakdown 👇 #DontCAmyAZ azfree.org/blog/2026/10/24/a…

We told you.
With Trump's additional $8 billion diesel relief package the government is on pace to pay farmers $55.4 billion in 2026, shattering the record $45 billion farmers got during COVID in 2020. It's not right for the government to take money from non-farmers and give it to farmers.

Consider these for Christmas gifts for the country kids you know,,,great work from the Radkes
South Dakota Cowgirl Mother/Daughter Duo, Amanda & Scarlett Radke, have teamed up to create agricultural children's books that celebrate family farms and ranches who are stewards of the land, caretakers to the livestock, and providers of food, fuel, and fiber that keep this nation free and fed. Amanda Radke has spent 20 years promoting agriculture and fighting to keep families on the land and beef on the dinner table. Her work inspired her 12-year old daughter, Scarlett, to continue the mission, and together, they have created a collection of stories that inspire and engage young readers. Drawing from their experiences on their cattle ranch, Scarlett and Amanda have poured their hearts into these stories, sharing them with students from Sacramento to Washington, D.C. and everywhere in between.  In this four-book set, you will receive these best-selling titles: •"Scarlett & Lucky" •"Home Sweet Prairie" •"A Calf, A Star & A King" •"Adventures of Finn & Ringo" Valued at $64 when purchased separetely, but sold as a set for $50. This value can't be beat! What a great gift item or Christmas stocking stuffer for little ones as the holiday season draws near!  amandaradke.com/collections/…

Across the rich world, nearly a quarter of all development aid now goes to climate projects. The core problem is opportunity cost. Every dollar subsidizing solar panels or carbon accounting is a dollar not spent on schools, maternal health or clean water. financialpost.com/opinion/op…

Despite the fact that what @elonmusk says is true, every single "guppy" datacenter project will continue on until their current money runs out. Well paid lemmings continuing towards the cliff. The fact that everyone involved already knows it will never operate doesn't matter. In another life, decades ago, I did the legal side of structured finance work and I saw how this played out in the dot com era first hand (yes, I'm that old). Someone raises the money and structures the financing in traunches and mezzanines using all these big beautiful words that make it sound like the investors are buying something complex and amazing when in reality they are at most getting the leftovers of a project that is already over mortgaged. The finance guys get paid for raising it (fees, promote, equity that can be sold). Their job is done once the capital is committed and they don't care what happens after. They don’t need the building to open, make money, or even finish. Then the builders get the contract. They get paid for pouring concrete, erecting steel, and installing equipment until accounts run dry. Their incentive is to keep the site busy and billable, not to ask whether the finished product will ever have power, customers, or a reason to exist. Stopping early just means less work. Everyone else, lenders, equipment vendors, local officials chasing tax breaks, has their own narrow piece and that's all they care about. Nobody above is paid to get the whole thing working. None of it is contingent upon opening. When the money starts to run out and the economics stop making sense, they keep building anyway. They just keep spending what’s left until it’s gone as anything left just goes back to investors, the sophisticated of whom have already hedged this bet anyway and the unsophisticated, well, nobody cares. The result is exactly what you’d expect: half-built shells sitting in fields, no longer useful to anyone who got paid along the way, and now someone else’s problem. No funds to complete. Too big to use for anything else. Zero money available to tear down and return to farm ground. Our present world of compartmentalization, where nobody is responsible for the whole, makes it rational for every participant to ignore the outcome. That’s why these things keep getting built even when they’re already doomed.

Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

The only tornado I have ever seen in Northern Arizona can't get an Emergency declaration from the governor. A conservative area without illegal immigrants.

It’s hard to comprehend fighting something off for nearly a decade of your life. To defend the land your parents farmed, where they’re buried. To defend the wildlife and the water, the wetlands and the floodplains. That’s what the people of Copake, NY did. And it’s finally over. The Shepherd’s Run Solar permit was officially denied. Are there avenues that would allow a solar company to try this again? Of course. But what I’ve learned in this ORES battle is that you must pause and celebrate the wins along the way. You have to. Or else the bureaucratic hopelessness will swallow you whole. And it’s swallowed a lot of Upstaters whole for many years. But not anymore. If you can fight off feeling hopeless wherever you are, you’d be surprised what change you can impact when you decide to lay it all down to protect your rural town or village. Keep the pressure on. It’s working.

These 2 countries account for 47% of beef imports into the United States. It needs to be closer to 0%. Let's get our beef imports from friendly nations and not pink communist vassal states. Almost every single country in our hemisphere would be better than these two.
Congratulations to my friend @LulaOficial on your election victory. Australia and Brazil are great democracies, and we’ll keep working together and building on our partnership. 🇦🇺🇧🇷
