The Book of Mormon takes place in the ancient Americas and, like the Bible, was written by Jesus Christ's followers. It teaches His gospel and testifies of Him. As you live the teachings found in the Book of Mormon, you can find peace and truth.

Satan himself could climb his way out of hell and field a team with all his highest ranking demons and if they played BYU I would be 100% team prince of darkness.
When a decade of rankings precedent and virtually every computer metric point one way — and the @CFBPlayoff committee goes the other — you’re left with an anomaly they should feel obligated to explain. If they won’t, it may be the strongest indictment of their integrity.
Looking back at wk 14 CFP rankings over the last DECADE, two points stood out:
1) No 1-loss P4/5 team has ever been ranked as low as BYU currently is at 11th
2) A grand cumulative total of FIVE 2-loss teams have ever been ranked above any 1-loss P4/5 team in that span, & 3 of those 5 are this year’s ND, OU, & Bama
(COVID yr excluded)
Reminder that currently, the average of 89 independent computer ranking systems have BYU at #8, behind only one 1-loss team… yet a single CFP committee and their “human element” has found a way to push the Cougs back down
BYU should be safely in the field regardless of the results of the Big12 CCG… no other 1-loss P4 team is being told they better win their CCG to get into a 12-team field… and SMU was essentially guaranteed by the committee that they were safe at 11-1 regardless of the ACC CCG results last year. But now that BYU is in that slot, they’re changing the rules. I wonder why…
How quickly responsibility becomes confused with permissiveness. To frame erotic AI as “mental health” progress is disingenuous. The same tech that isolates people emotionally is now sold as connection. That’s not healing—it’s deepening the wound.
We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.
Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.
In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).
In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
I’m pretty sure this is what the kids call ‘based.’
I’ve never posted content intended for Utah fans, so I’ve certainly never invited anything from them. Their feedback is always uninvited and almost universally unpleasant.
My post wasn’t a dig. It was a job-related observation unique to this week, about a practice unique in the Big 12.
I’m not naive; to the contrary, I know too well how certain people will react to certain things I post. It doesn’t mean I’m wrong with the things I write.
What is wrong is the way certain people choose to interact with me—and that’s why I’m glad this platform has a mute button. I use it a lot.
I don’t know more that could be said about Russell M. Nelson. His guidance, teachings, and example have shaped so much of what it means to me to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. My gratitude for this wonderful man is endless.
“As one of the special witnesses of the name of Christ in all the world, I testify that He is the Son of the living God. Jesus is the Christ—our atoning Savior and Redeemer. This is His Church, restored to bless God’s children and to prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord.” —Russell M. Nelson (1924–2025).

The Rivers of America was a tranquil tribute to a mythic America. Now it’s being paved over. We’ve traded reverence for relevance. Wonder for noise. Continuity for commerce. We’re letting go of something precious—and we don’t even see it. #DisneyParks
I just watched my sons share the field for the first and probably only time. I didn’t see it coming, and now I’ll never forget it. What a beautiful gift.
