Unlike single-source batching, multi-source optimizes payment flows with sequential transactions, like withdrawals to fund lightning channels. Removing sequential txs significantly improves on what was thought to be the best case fee savings of payment batching.

Payjoin enables multi-source batching, where two parties contribute to a batch - paying one another - and various third parties - while consolidating their own wallets to save in fees.

Maybe this is better described as adding Wasabi support to LND. You can open channels with P2EP. Perhaps you could pay an invoice through the same interface in the future

"Make every spend a CoinJoin" isn't a just meme. Off chain coordination allows us to publish a majority of bitcoin blockspace so that those all payments joined together cannot be linked. Our team has been been quietly organizing this structure optimization. Stay tuned.

A tldr; of Wabisabi is effectively a new DoS protection mechanism and communication protocol for interacting with the coordinator with new cryptographic primitives. The purpose of this way to open the door to more flexible transaction structure not limited by denominations.

Signal did not create MC. Have said many times would support integrating BTC or LN if it is made to be private, fast, no/low fee, works on mobile (doesn't require scanning every tx to identify your own), etc. No takers so far, just ppl saying we should do it without those things.
