It took me 30 years, but today I got a diagnosis for autism. Still awaiting an official diagnosis as to where I am on the spectrum, but my God it's a relief. It's not really surprised me, but it's been so liberating and has helped me to better understand myself

Israel is responsible for the flooding of people's makeshift tents in Gaza by destroying all vital infrastructure and preventing sufficient aid to enter. The "international community" is to blame for allowing it all to happen and showing total disregard for human life.

Israel cannot destroy infrastructure in Gaza, block rebuilding efforts, including the entry of mobile homes, and then blame Hamas.
Hamas doesn't get to escape accountability every time it rains.

⚠️ Gaza’s Crossings and Borders Authority: Israeli authorities have not allowed any humanitarian aid or commercial goods trucks to enter the Gaza Strip for the second consecutive day.

Israel does control entry of all materials into Gaza, however, and is the reason why more than a million people are living in tents on the lowest-lying fraction of Gaza's land, with zero homes rebuilt, a year into the "ceasefire".
Contrary to popular belief, Israel does not control the weather.

Last time I checked it was Israel that genocided Gaza, destroying over 80℅ of homes while denying not only reconstruction but also tents from coming in under so-called "dual-use" policies. But sure, don't let truth get in the way
Hamas doesn't get to escape accountability every time it rains.

@Ed_Miliband and @andyburnham WHAT are you doing about Gazans starving and weeping in the rain? Your silence is a crime against humanity.

When did we get to the point where Palestinians are living in tents that are being flooded and Israel are still bombing them? Where is the world's condemnation? Where?

Who destroyed their homes, blocks shelter aid, and prevents reconstruction?
Heavy rainfall triggered flooding through displacement camps in Gaza City, with Palestinians saying their belongings, including their bedding, have all become soaked reut.rs/3VcFphx

The solution isn't to allow more tents into Gaza, it's to allow reconstruction. No conditions. No more excuses. No more collective punishment.
🚨HORRIBLE: Sewage has mixed with rainwater as floodwaters engulf displaced Palestinians’ tents in Gaza. For the fourth consecutive winter, families are once again facing flooding, contamination, and unimaginable suffering as a result of Israel’s genocidal war.

Gaza aid is being systematically obstructed, slowed, and frustrated at a critical time. The UK just established new powers to sanction individuals or entities involved in obstructing aid or serious violations of IHL. Time to apply them please @Ed_Miliband @SDoughtyMP
As heavy rain & cold hit #Gaza, families and their #children are facing devastating conditions in makeshift tents with little protection. @UNICEF is doing what we can to support but much more needs to be done. Access for all aid & more funding is vital. Children cannot wait.

Palestinians in Gaza are still being killed daily. Israel is still preventing aid and essential supplies from entering. The engineered famine is worsening. And you’d struggle to find any sufficient coverage of this in the mainstream media.

The UK has now expanded its sanctions regime to include those blocking aid – for reference, Israel has blocked tent poles and generators into Gaza due to what it cals "dual use". What, exactly is the UK waiting for?
Why is there simply no pressure on the Israelis to facilitate humanitarian relief in Gaza?

Rains have now begun in #Gaza, flooding shelters and putting people at immediate risk. Humanitarians have mobilized quickly, but available stocks are insufficient. Winter supplies must be allowed to enter now. More humanitarian funding is urgent.

Another attack on health in #Myanmar, on 4 November, has reportedly killed at least five health workers in Kawling township, Sagaing region, bringing the total number of attacks on health in 2026 to 65 with 63 deaths. With 4 million people displaced by conflict and disasters, Myanmar's health system is already struggling with recurrent outbreaks, resurgent malaria and other vector-borne diseases, and many unvaccinated children at risk of measles and polio. Continued attacks deprive people of lifesaving care. I cannot say it loudly enough: health care is #NotATarget. It must be protected at all times.

Pls can we address the entire culture that allowed Russell Brand to get away with his lecherous behaviour, over and over again, even going so far as to write about his assaults of women in his books, reference them in his shows? Men like this still exist, hiding in plain sight

Our government would rather protest in this country takes the form of a strongly worded letter, as opposed to actual civil disobedience like protesting and direct action. Completely Kafka-esque
Replying to @HudaAmmori
He quotes the judgment that says Palestine Action is the "antithesis of civil disobedience groups". The court takes a two minute break.
