I've just released my new music video. It was the product of 13 months of continuous effort. We shot the entire project in the garage of a friend of mine. Check it out: youtu.be/_9MltJ9ABYo?si=d8K3…

Lowkey I put the ableton default saturator at like 12 db at 30% on the master for that extra punch all the time
okay first critique about ableton as an fl studio main user is that i hate how the things i make on ableton aren’t as punchy as they are on fl studio. genuinely considering starting ideas in ableton and finishing/mixing/mastering them in fl

This is an acoustic guitar. It sounds like a medieval hurdy-gurdy. Japanese inventor Keizo Ishibashi made a crank attachment that spins two rosined rings to bow four strings at once. No electronics. Nothing modifying the guitar. Genius or too strange to catch on?

Without anthpo's creative direction these just don't hit as hard

There's no use postulating over alternative routes you could have taken in life. You didn't take them. You can't go back. It's a waste of your mental compute, your tokens.

One of the top 5 in this era I'd say
Genuinely the best composer that ever exists

I hate these arguments because it presupposes an abstraction of concept that does not exist. It treats another layer of information as the derivative of our reality (cows can't comprehend money, humans can't comprehend ??) and then bases the argument on that. Pseudo-metaphysical

The correct word for this is "quasi" rather than "pseudo"

The third layer is that all of these reddit posts are entirely AI generated as well
Huge influx of accounts on here that AI-summarize Reddit posts for engagement. Most of them are running dropshipping scams in places like Vietnam and Rwanda. Users on here are stupider than they used to be and spend a lot of time fighting with them as if the stories are real.

My theory is that every medium has a "great filtrator" that the entirety of the medium is absorbed and parsed through, and then what they output creatively directs the entire medium forward. There are filtrators for mediums (aphex twin for music) and for art as a whole (kanye)

Ok, thanks
Nathan Fielder reveals that Elizabeth Holmes called him from prison last week. “She had not called me in over six months. I had not heard from her in any way…she asked how I was doing. I asked her if she had seen any stuff about the film coming out and how she felt about it. She told me she had seen some stuff, but most things she just isn’t seeing, so she’s heard things, but she hasn’t really read anything. And then, at the end, she said to me - ‘I trust you.’ I said, ‘OK, thanks.’” (Source: wired.com/story/nathan-field…)

The energy right now in Los Angeles is: PUT YOUR HEAD DOWN AND FIGURE SOMETHING OUT YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. It's a palpable energy everywhere of people trying to create something great. Everyone is doing it, and we won't see the results for a couple years
