I had a similar experience in 2021 That was when I learned that the brain can switch off even when u are not feeling sleepy Congratulations to you
Two months ago, I had an accident that could have killed me and other people, under certain conditions. I was researching a new topic. So, I spent the whole night reading. Knowledge often feels like drugs to me. Once I'm learning something new and interesting, my whole body will be hyper and charged. Till morning, I didn't feel exhausted. So, I drove out to quickly run an errand. I had a blackout. It was like someone switched my button off. I opened my eyes and met myself almost entering the gutter on the opposite side. In my half-aware state, I panicked and swerved back to my own side of the road. I tried balancing the steering but I couldn't. My car jumped the gutter and hit a kiosk that was by the road. I came down from the car, called my mechanic and paid some men to help me remove the car and I went home to sleep. It was around 7am on a Saturday. If I had my children in the car or if I was living in a busy area, the story would probably have been different. If someone was in the kiosk, the story could have been different. I learnt an important lesson. No matter how much I have to read, I prioritize sleep now. If I'm unable to get six hours of sleep in the night, I don't drive myself the next day. The life we're hustling for can just be gone in an instant 🫰🏾 if we're not careful. To someone like me out there, learn when to slow down. I had to replace my bumper, radiator, fan and repair the bonnet, before repainting the car. It cost me a lot of money. But it could have cost me my life...and that of my loved ones.

Apart from users from China, has there been a widespread complaint of the iphone duo having its screen broken easily and other malfunctions from users in Europe, UK and America? @grok

Awon omo keekeekee are plenty on this app I mean boys and girls who just stopped collecting allowee but having expert opinions on wealth matter What young boys and girls here should be doing is to post a thought they are curious about and leave the OGs to share real life experiences That way, the curiosity will turn to a learning opportunity
Bro, walahi, you can get to N3 billion and still go broke. I am not joking. And it is not necessarily you.

Experience No 1 I had a similar experience with DSS back in Calabar in d early days of oil bunkering and kidnapping. It turned out that those men who had lodged in one closed-by hotel and quickly became popular are DSS boys. The hotel is managed by my neighbour as his side hustle so i got the full story. We started hearing loud bang on doors in the wee hours right inside our compound and the target was another neighbour whom I have only heard about but never met. Our security man said he works on the oil rig. The operation lasted about 10mins and baba was dragged out in chains. The DSS guys left before the police arrived at the scene. The intel was obviously not shared with the police. Few days later, it became known thru the news that we have been living with an OG. A big fish! Experience No 2 You acted based on intuition and spirit and that cannot be a standard for everyone. The standard is “when u see something, say something “ and may God be with u
I drove past them as early as 6 a.m. today while going to the gym. They were sitting at one of the Aboki-owned SME stores inside the estate, acting like regular people. By the time I returned, I discovered that the duplex next to my house had been raided by the EFCC. They acted so swiftly that they moved the suspect within five minutes and sealed off the house with their red paint. This reminds me of an experience during my NYSC days. I had travelled to Lagos for the weekend and was returning to Ilorin, where my PPA was located. Along the way, I encountered a joint task force comprising the EFCC and an anti-crime squad conducting stop-and-search operations on the outskirts of Ibadan. At the sight of the security operatives, I noticed that a young boy seated to me, who was a student at the University of Ilorin, had become visibly uncomfortable. I asked him what was wrong, and immediately, I told him to hand over his phones and laptops to me. When the operatives stopped us and saw me in my NYSC uniform, they allowed us to pass. Afterwards, I advised the young man to leave online fraud and give his education his full attention. He offered to transfer ₦50,000 to me as a token of appreciation, but I declined. I told him I had not helped him because of money; I did it because I believed everyone deserved a second chance. Three years later, he called me. By then, he was already in Lagos, got an offer from one of the big four, now, working with Deloitte on the Island. He asked if I could help him find accommodation since I was also based in Lagos. I invited him to stay with me in Surulere and gave him a room in my three-bedroom apartment. He lived with me for four years without paying a single naira. During that period, I advised him to stay away from unnecessary spending, to also stay away from hungry girls who aren't in same career of financial level as his. I reminded him that his job could be taken away from him at any time, so he needed to save enough money and work towards relocating abroad, which should be part of his future plans. I provided him with the necessary materials and information for his relocation. I also helped him find a university in the United States that offered fully funded programmes. Eventually, he secured admission to the University of Missouri and Arkansas State University after taking GRE, with 100% funding and a monthly stipend of $2,000. He is now in the United States. After completing his master's degree, he immediately secured a salaried position at Amazon. This time, he shared his full salary details and offer letter with me. I am happy that I was able to do one thing: help a young man who was already heading down the wrong path abandon online fraud and focus on building his career. Today, he has made something meaningful of his life. Let's learn to give people whom society has pushed towards the worst versions of themselves a second chance. Sometimes, all they need is one person who believes in them, offers them guidance, and gives them an opportunity to change their story.

Nigeria pharmacists/chemists and bad behaviours Once u go to the pharmacy and request a drug recommendation, those nonsense pharmacists sitting in the office will use the opportunity to sell their most expensive drugs. Not mostly about getting any cure for the patient Why can we be so exploitative?

I like the way all the haters of islam in America are no longer hiding Im happy that we are all confronting the truth If u hate islam, be bold to say it and also link it to all the problems of the world. That is a gut! Dont hate islam and accept muslims as immigrants just to sell the diversity agenda and later come to complain that the same immigrants u accepted are destroying u So again, be honest to reject them when they apply to come to your country

When a man joined Customs Service in 1979 and by 1988, nine years after, he had become Ag. CG leading those who had served for 20, 30, 34 years in the Service. Someone without a first degree o! Just a catering or is it nursing qualification? equivalent of SS3 and in 9 years, he’s the head, such a person will live on entitlement mentality throughout his life. He will rely on cutting corners, fetishism, and disorder. Unfortunately, the 9 years that earned him unmerited promotion was just like advanced payment for a work yet to be done. NEVER ENVY corner cutters, they will eat their fruits before their works begins

is why ( VANGUARD TOWING VENTURES ) charged me ₦100,000 to tow my car from Oyemekun Ogba to Alausa, especially when my car, a working Lexus jeep, was not faulty. Why is the towing fee so expensive for such a short distance? I believe this charge is unreasonable,

My car was towed two days ago at Oyemekun Ogba, for allegedly causing an obstruction. I have no problem paying the fine for the offence, and I paid ₦25,000 into the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation account as required. However, what I do not understand Thread 🧵
