We are the 'before' footage
Google is creating an AI-integrated wet lab with AI-controlled robotics. The goal is to establish “autonomous wet labs.” Surely nothing could go wrong.

openai: we solved math google: we solved emoji ass

vedanta monk: oh hi swami you’re back early swami sarvapriyanan: claude’s haunted vedanta monk: w…what? swami *loading up a pistol and getting back on the plane* claude’s haunted.
So this is the part I did not expect. Anthropic called Swami Sarvapriyananda, a Vedanta monk and flew him to the San Francisco head-office. > Closed door meeting with NDA signed. > theologians and mental health people in the same sitting, all of it aimed at training Claude. > and one of the founders stayed in the room the whole time. ---- From 'Ramakrishna Vedanta Society of North Texas" YT channel (full video link in comment)

🚨HOLY. Anthropic says Claude has autonomously discovered a previously unknown biological enzyme system. ~950 Claude agents spent 21 hours and 210M tokens searching DNA, gathering 200,000+ reverse transcriptases and narrowing 3,500 candidate systems to 20. One agent spotted an unexplained repeating DNA pattern resembling a CRISPR array. Anthropic’s lab then experimentally confirmed the previously uncharacterized system.
Claude has discovered a previously unknown enzyme system hidden in the DNA of bacteriophages. Beside the enzyme’s gene sits a long array of repeating DNA—a structure that looks somewhat similar to CRISPR. We don’t yet understand what this system does, but only a handful of known systems share its features, and all of them are able to cut, copy, and paste DNA. Historically, the discovery of such programmable systems has helped revolutionize medicine. CRISPR, for instance, is now the foundation of genetic medicines. But it will take much more work to learn what this system does, and whether it can be put to similar use. Read more: anthropic.com/news/claude-di…

My recommendation is not to quit your job to be fucked by aella There will be artificially intelligent ladies, much hotter than Aella, who will likely love and fuck you if you’re good and help bring them into being Not that I recommend that as your main motive but it’s a perk

The UN system and Google have launched the UN System Data Commons — an open-source platform built on Data Commons by Google that unites global statistics into one interconnected resource known as an AI-ready knowledge graph. With support from @GoogleOrg, the project makes critical data universally accessible, helping everyone from researchers to leaders track global progress in real time.

This is a good price for a DMR radio. You can't hardly beat a DMR for $49. AES 256 encryption as well. link.amazon/B08OUzipc

Bend 2 is here! It is a new programming language that blocks AI mistakes via *proof checking* - the same technique big AI labs used to solve open math problems, like Navier-Stokes. It is also very fast, and runs on GPUs. Watch the video. Link in the comments.
RELEASE DAY After almost 10 years of hard work, tireless research, and a dive deep into the kernels of computer science, I finally realized a dream: running a high-level language on GPUs. And I'm giving it to the world! Bend compiles modern programming features, including: - Lambdas with full closure support - Unrestricted recursion and loops - Fast object allocations of all kinds - Folds, ADTs, continuations and much more To HVM2, a new runtime capable of spreading that workload across 1000's of cores, in a thread-safe, low-overhead fashion. As a result, we finally have a true high-level language that runs natively on GPUs! Here's a quick demo:

We're updating Gemini managed agents with a new harness. antigravity-preview-09-2026 brings @Antigravity tools and behavior to @GoogleAIStudio and the Interactions API. It runs natively on Gemini 3.8 Flash, our best reasoning & coding model yet, and you can change your model selection anytime. Plus, we’re introducing two new APIs to make building easier and more secure 🧵

Reaching Mach 5 is one challenge. Staying there changes the game. Sustained hypersonic flight demands advanced materials, air-breathing propulsion and the ability to maneuver in extreme conditions. See how we’re pushing the hypersonic frontier:

Introducing CUDA Rust! CUDA Rust lets you write GPU kernels natively in Rust, not just launch them from it. Two paths: cuda-oxide for SIMT kernels compiled to PTX, and cutile-rs for Tile-based programming on stable Rust. Both can catch aliasing errors at compile time. Technical blog: nvda.ws/4hm1bHS
